1 time post, think we have the makings of a team here, all the boys seem to be together which was not the case last season, like the 2 centre backs look solid
Let’s go.

I feel were on to something good the signs look good solid at the back and the forward line will get better but no doubt the manky mob will have summit to say but f#$k them let's go.

2.) 03 Aug 2018 00:09:54
I’m so f*#*#ing excited! We have makings of a really good team.

3.) 03 Aug 2018 11:25:25
At times last night it just felt like it was either one pass to many or just not picking the right past in the final third although i'am more than sure that is down to new players and new ways of playing. Loved watching alfredo bob his head back and forward to us singing his name though and his VAR claim to the ref. He actually looks like he is enjoying it and i think a happy alfredo is a danger to any team.

4.) 03 Aug 2018 13:12:37
Really pleased with the progress we have made so far. Defence looks solid and I think we are growing in confidence going forward.

I can hardly remember us scoring any headed goals last season and that’s now 5 in the last three games (I think)

We are a much stronger team in the air as well as confident on the ground.

I like our strength in midfield and like most can’t wait for Lego to go flying about in the old form games this year.

5.) 03 Aug 2018 14:34:30
I feel we still have a lot of gelling to do and could do with an easier first game than away to Aberdeen.

I agree we look solid at the back but we still don't dictate play in midfield and the front players are not working as a unit.

6.) 03 Aug 2018 16:13:25
There has been a lot said recently about disagrees and how they must be Celtic fans. In the interest of honesty and transparency, I would like to hold my hand up and say that I disagreed with bigandy's post simply because I do not believe in the concept of 'gelling' and hit disagree to every post I see which mentions it. Too often, recently, it has been used as an excuse by 'head in the sand' supporters.

7.) 03 Aug 2018 17:05:20
Had to press the disagree button STYAB because bigandy didn't mentioned anything about gelling!

8.) 03 Aug 2018 17:06:41
Oops! Read the wrong post, sorry STYAB. But I still disagree!

9.) 03 Aug 2018 17:25:58
That was an outstanding performance McShagger deserved a clean sheet the CB’s worked well Morelos made a nuisance of himself the hole team worked really hard and showed real hunger Jack stood up and showed he is the defensive mid we have all been wanting but what I am loving with this squad is the completion for places and having a strong bench which will improve when players return from injury but a backup centre half is required.

Anybody know the whereabouts of Ben Davies as he is not even mentioned in anything? don’t rate him but has got to be an option for that joke of a defence.

Fluter57

1.) 16 Apr 2024 06:31:43
Maybe he's fitnessguruandy, both been a. w. o. l for a while?.

2.) 16 Apr 2024 06:42:24
He's away looking after shergar.

3.) 16 Apr 2024 08:33:40
Sure he was out on the pitch limbering up against Ross County.

4.) 16 Apr 2024 09:52:05
I'm still waiting for Ben Davies to turn up. truly dreadful signing.

5.) 16 Apr 2024 11:27:11
Davies was a panic signing by Wilson, Gio did not even know we were getting him till ne received a phone call from dof

I don’t think board would try that with PC.

6.) 16 Apr 2024 12:36:02
Davies, like most of Wilson's acquisitions was a waste of money!

7.) 16 Apr 2024 14:08:37
This fascination of having to be left footed as the left sided centre back annoys me. that's the only reason we signed him with no regard of his defensive ability.

27 Jul 2023 23:18:47
Don’t really think anyone wants any of our players.

Fluter57

1.) 27 Jul 2023 23:25:58
The players that want to leave will leave.

Matondo, Davies, Roofe, Lundstrum. Why would they leave? All on a significant wage which they won’t get elsewhere.

The younger ones will leave ie Wright, McCrorie etc.

2.) 27 jul 2023 23:49:56
when you consider goldson and taps trophies you have a point mate. but i think there are a few who want players of the calibre we have, its getting them out that's the biggest issue.

3.) 28 Jul 2023 00:07:57
Tom, they ain't going to anyone worthwhile for them, championship at best, which means low transfer fee for us and probs a cut in wages for them, its going to be a hard sell!

4.) 28 Jul 2023 05:41:22
Copland

Maybe am I wishful thinker but would've thought players would've had sense of professionalism and need/ want to play causing them to leave hopefully for fee rather than sit on best feature milking club.

5.) 28 Jul 2023 07:03:23
Aye because that’s what teams look for in a player loads a trophies? Nonsense.

6.) 28 Jul 2023 08:51:27
Mbw - it’s a sign of the times now, as the
( Pink Floyd) song says “ Money “. I remember big Butcher playing with the blood streaming down his face, where would you get that now? If Roofe coughs he’s out for 3 months .

7.) 28 Jul 2023 09:56:03
MBW

I think that notion went with Sky money and Bosman.

Lot of b******s about wanting a new challenge.

8.) 28 Jul 2023 10:00:41
Fergus you’re at it mate Roofe is one of our own get your facts right. If he coughs he’s out for 6 months ?.

9.) 28 Jul 2023 10:10:30
You can't play with a spot of blood on your top these days fergus. So no you wouldn't get that anywhere now.
Again Roofe gets it in the neck.
I remember reading on here that someone said he was out because he was getting a hair transplant, well it obviously didnae work, I've got more hair on my head than he has on his and that's saying something.

10.) 28 Jul 2023 10:11:08
T T P
If he farts he’s out for a season, can I say that?

11.) 28 Jul 2023 11:16:45
You can say what you like fergus, some ill agree with some I won't.

06 Apr 2023 09:52:31
Clancy, ref for Saturday, that's any chance of a result on Saturday blown out the water! ????.

Fluter57

1.) 06 Apr 2023 11:14:40
Was he not the ref the last time we beat them I am unsure but I thought I read that this week somewhere may be wrong tho.

2.) 06 Apr 2023 11:57:19
We don’t need help of the refs.

3.) 06 Apr 2023 12:19:34
Fluter57 please leave the paranoid comments for them acseross the city. Seems like you have no belief and looking for excuses already mate. I believe we can beat them no matter who the ref is.

4.) 06 Apr 2023 13:31:49
As far as I can see Clancy has refereed the last 3 victories against Celtic, x1 at PH. Same 7 yellows each, 1 red to us. don't see Clancy as a major issue tbh. Just need 11 fully fit players with a desire to win the game.

5.) 06 Apr 2023 13:44:42
Play to our potential and the performance of Father Clancy or any other incompetent referee doesn't come in to it.

6.) 06 Apr 2023 14:26:13
That’s it get excuses in early.

7.) 06 Apr 2023 15:40:48
Im not a fan of Clancy but given how poor the quality of referees are in Scotland he isn't any worse than some of the others.

8.) 06 Apr 2023 17:37:32
Correct mph 6/ 7 play to there potential will not matter who the referee is.

06 Apr 2023 09:42:24
Well Bears, now that we now know that "Father Clancy" is the ref for Saturday, I can say that we are well and truly F##ked ??.

Fluter57

1.) 06 Apr 2023 16:37:41
Grow up, pathetic statement.

10 Jan 2023 08:49:46
Hope it’s not the medical team that’s looking after our injuries that is putting any new players through a medical! That could spell trouble ?.
