Windass is a passenger in the team, said that two weeks ago and got slated, we need more from him than what he is giving, he is fine against the so called smaller teams, but can't produce in the big games .

Hi folks, first time here having read for a while. It's good to see that there is positivity on here again and by no means am I looking to appear negative here so I'll ask it first as a question . Does anyone's else think that the board are playing this more than shrewdly with how they're going about their business? They've appointed Murthy till the end of season, they've backed him with getting new players, again loans till end of season. This could go one of two ways. We have a great second half of season, all players work out, Murthy is a success and all in the garden is rosie. Or things go tits up again and the board have their get out clause with not having to take on players and being left with them should a new manager be brought in . I desperately want Murthy to succeed and be at the helm for a long time . We don't need any more turmoil. And let's stop the talk about stopping ten in a row. I don't want them getting nine! Be gentle with me guys.

The team / first team squad looks better. The board? Naw, we should be on a much better position as a club, soft loans, millions wasted on transfer fees, crazy wages. And only recently did we get some kind of scouting network. King is like Murray, full of it.

The board can't afford to keep making the wrong managerial appointment and throwing money at the wrong players. I, like many on here said that what we need is a manager that knows the club, the league, the type of player that is needed to play in this league. Murty even said this himself, its not rocket science. Murty has proved that he is tactically aware and with the signings so far the signs are definately positive. If we can off load some deadwood ie herrera cardoso hodson krancjar and get docherty in then I think we will be in really good shape for the 2nd half of the season.

Drew68 it can only go one of the two ways you mentioned. You also have to ask if the loan players do well will the board be able to find the funds to sign them permanently? What would be a great 2nd half of the season? 2nd and at least cup semi? I ask because I can guarentee there will be some on here that will want Murty sacked before the end of the season!

He was gone yesterday hence why the under 20’s asked Gerrard for a couple of first team squad as they were light in midfield. He gave them Middleton and Sadiq, who as he was leaving in his fancy4x4 Mercedes floored the pedal for 50 feet in the car park and then jumped on the brakes at the exit when there were pedestrians around. Methinks this guy has a big ego and for all his fancy dancing leg movement won’t actually show an awful lot for us this season. 🤪🤪🤣.

I’d agree that Boyd used his elbow deliberately. Broadfoot shows a dirty side to him when facing rangers . CHris Burke looked a bit like that as well. U probably know my brother from mainholm as well then!

I think Ryan jack was tremendous for us at start of last season as well. The sending offs and then injury turned a lot against him and others jumped on the bandwagon making him a scapegoat. Remember we got this guy for no fee . Brilliant bit of business.
