Anyone any info on the DoF position or when they expect to appoint one?

DerHammer

1.) 21 Mar 2017 04:52:07
Supposedly its out off bomber brown, ferguson and miller, going by the papers.

2.) 21 Mar 2017 04:53:02
Sorry i read tht wrong lol tht was for 1st team coach. I duno who is dof, seen mcleish has knocked it bk though.

3.) 21 Mar 2017 10:54:57
Maybe Ferguson for coach and Brown for DOF that sounds good to me especially if bomber brings his boots

4.) 21 Mar 2017 11:32:09
Rangers never spoke to Eck about DoF role but when asked the question on bbc he said he felt he still had something to give in management.

5.) 21 Mar 2017 13:55:57
yes, but the dark side will spin it so that we got another knock back and that's the media i am talking about when referring to the dark side this time, lmao.

Rangers have made contact with GorMahia for that Ugandan boy Aucho according to their chairman, and my uncle Jim in the Uganda orange lodge knows his dad said its a done deal 😂😂.

DerHammer

1.) 02 Jun 2016 16:42:35
ma dads, uncles dugs, rabbits, hamsters cousin, from 123 quality street, in neverneverland orange lodge, no#1690 heard a Chinese whisper its a done deal.

2.) 02 Jun 2016 20:27:33
You forgot to mention he works in the local chip shop I know the guy your talking about!

3.) 02 Jun 2016 22:19:48
Went to school with him, good bear, supported Rangers all his life.

4.) 03 Jun 2016 10:35:57
lmfao who is this guy I've never heard of him?

21 Apr 2016 15:34:50
Seems to be some truth to this Jason Cummings rumour, had someone reliable tell me there that Rangers will be in for him this summer, they where put off in January with 800k asking price. Time will tell if it's true.

DerHammer

1.) 21 Apr 2016 20:38:45
Well asking price likely to the same or more now.

Not worth it in my opinion.

2.) 21 Apr 2016 20:50:38
he's a good player and probably bring something to the team but think we need a bigger more physical guy with pace up top. he's a wee twat who looks like he would fit right in with tht other mob.

3.) 22 Apr 2016 06:34:04
I'd take Cummings in a heart beat. He has bags of potential just needs the right guidance and who else better than MW and DW to help develop him.

4.) 22 Apr 2016 14:11:51
JJ - - Cummings unfortunately is not the type of lad who will take guidance! - - his ego is way above his limited talent. He is another Riordan, a one season wonder looking for a big payday.
not for Rangers imo.

5.) 22 Apr 2016 18:12:27
yup spot on bil72.

6.) 22 Apr 2016 19:17:32
Bil72 you r probably right with that comparison with riordan. Just think with the right guidance he could be a great player and we could get him for probably under 1 mill could be lot less if they don't go up. Our front line concerns me at times. Miller can't last forever. Moh head goes down if he can't get past the first man and if we pick up injuries like we have done lately it leaves us short of options, I know windass is coming in and can be an option but we need more fire power to back up all this possession we have. Just my opinion.

Heard that josh vela from Bolton is being spoken to by rangers, don't know anything about him tbh thought I'd share it though.

DerHammer

1.) 17 Apr 2016 08:00:12
Can play RB or as a defensive CM.

2.) 17 Apr 2016 23:55:25
Josh Vela would be a terrific signing and can probably get for around £500k. I would also try and get Zach Clough again from Bolton, Transfer fee would probably be around £2mil but the sell on clause on both players would become handy i imagine.

3.) 19 Apr 2016 10:38:20
Given the high balls we were playing I personally think we need a tall striker.

Looks like lafferty is going to happen, I do not think he improves our squad at all. Hoping the guy that told me is wrong but he usually isn't.

DerHammer

1.) 25 Jul 2016 16:45:28
I think most of us will trust MW and his judgement. If he thinks he can get something out of lafferty then I'll accept that. He may have grown up now, last time round he was a liability and he'll need to do a lot to get the majority of the support onside.

2.) 25 Jul 2016 18:10:49
Lafferty is a much better player than 3 years ago! He seems to have sorted his head aswell. If Warbs and Weir say he's worth another punt then I'd give him another chance. At least for him to show us he f****d up last time by leaving.

3.) 26 Jul 2016 00:03:32
Is there a fee involved regarding Lafferty?

4.) 26 Jul 2016 00:15:49
I don't think he'll improve on our striking options but being 6'6" you'd think he'd add another dimension with an aerial threat, but he can't head the ball. I trust Warbs but I'd give this a body swerve.

Brian Kennedy sold sale sharks today, I wonder if he will invest in Rangers considering he tried to buy us in the past, any thoughts or info on that lads?

DerHammer

1.) 09 Jun 2016 12:06:42
I'm glad with the board we have but I would love Brian to come on board, but it's not that simple with gers at the moment, but good shout mate.

2.) 09 Jun 2016 13:58:31
Was his involvement not dependant on Souness being involved?

3.) 09 Jun 2016 14:29:30
Deeb sourness was involved I'm sure an introduction is all that's needed from him, maybe a seat in directors box an a rangers tie will keep souness happy ambassador role he will be good for, board said ages ago they'd welcome new investment and seek financial backing, I'm not saying it's a stick on lads but a possibility maybe.

4.) 09 Jun 2016 15:31:29
It's not simple but a possibility am sure he wanted full control of the club or nothing I hope he has keep his eye out and nos how much we have came forward as a club am sure he has and would b a welcome boost to have someone with his money behind us Robertson used to coach his boy or boys if I remember so it could happen don't no why not a massive club and the fans r the most passionate and loyal fans in any sport.

5.) 09 Jun 2016 13:14:42
Dełboy, i think Brian Kennedy would invest in rangers as well mate, i recon any good business man would invest in rangers giving the opportunity, but like you say mate its not so easy to invest at our place as the people running the show know that eventually they will reap there rewards, and good luck to them, as they are also doing a good job so far.

I haven't watched that many Aberdeen games to make a good judgement, but can't be any worse than what we have.

Teddy, you're spot on we should be bringing that talent through from U20s. I think BF will be good help with that as will Murty, players like Burt, Borjanos, Atikayi, Beerman, Lyon, Gilmour the list is long of good prospects in that squad need to get them in about the squad for few games if they can't cut it sell them for cash rather than releasing them for free which is stupidly what's been happening for a while.

Do the old management not waiver any comp by signing contract for new club?

I'd be happy with any one of the 3 of them, although I like Murty I want him to work with the youth it's an important job and one which I'm confident now Murty is right guy for .

Signing other teams young players for development is a slap in the face to young players at the academy, just read about 25 comments about loyalty but why don't club show some loyalty to the young lads that are already here bursting a gut to get in rather than bring in a 20 year old straight into our team, then any really good prospect in future will think "nah I'll no go to them as I'll get to u20's then they'll bring in a loan for Spain or EPL then I'll be loaned to Cowdenbeath " ( no offence to Cowdenbeath)

That's just my opinion on bringing in young loans though most people may disagreed

I think rangers will sit deep and hit on counter with pacey wide players, I'm slightly confident of taking something there is no pressure on Murty or the players as the league is lost already so I can see us stealing it 2-1. miller and hyndman to score.
