Is Jonathan Johanson still with us in any capacity .

C.f. bear

1.) 01 Sep 2018 13:29:03
I heard he left at the end of the season when Jimmy Nicol left.

2.) 01 Sep 2018 13:59:04
Is he not with Murty and the development squad?

3.) 01 Sep 2018 14:55:30
Think u r right bearmode.

4.) 01 Sep 2018 15:01:21
No he left the club in the summer I’m pretty sure. He was brought in to assist Pedro. There is no slot for him at the acaedemy.

5.) 01 Sep 2018 15:06:28
C. f bear were you watching master chef and seen his Mrs on it to think of him?

6.) 01 Sep 2018 16:57:15
he was commentating the motherwell game and said middleton text him saying if he doesn't get on can he come in early for extra shooting practice. so he is with us.

7.) 01 Sep 2018 17:28:08
Of course he's with us he's the man! Also recommended Pedro to snap up Morelos from Finland Great find!

8.) 01 Sep 2018 19:14:52
Still with us I believe.

9.) 01 Sep 2018 19:16:47
Beatsgowl, I thought that was Lovenkrands.

10.) 01 Sep 2018 20:05:08
That was definitely Lovenkrands not JJ.

11.) 01 Sep 2018 20:49:51
Johansson was the one that recommended Morelos not lovenkrands.

12.) 01 Sep 2018 21:14:52
It was the agent who approached Rangers re Morelos. All Johansson did was give a good opinion.

13.) 01 Sep 2018 22:30:26
He meant that it's Lovenkrands that does the commentary.

14.) 01 Sep 2018 22:30:46
Yes I know that He is Finnish and JJ recommended the top talent from HJK That being Morelos.

15.) 01 Sep 2018 22:42:16
Yes but lovenkrands was the one commentating the other night. Not sure if JJ is still with us.

16.) 01 Sep 2018 22:52:00
lol he means lovenkrands was commentating and that's what middleton txt him
harhun is correct.

17.) 02 Sep 2018 01:35:35
He's not Finnish, he's only 28.

18.) 02 Sep 2018 07:50:14
the new Rangers FC boss has made a complete makeover of his managerial staff and only goalkeeping coach Colin Stewart has survived from last season.

This means that the Ibrox outfit have parted ways with Jonatan Johansson who played such a crucial role last season.

19.) 02 Sep 2018 09:45:46
JJ’s kid was on the same Rangers soccer course as my son a few weeks back right outside of Ibrox- so I’m assuming he’s still involved.

20.) 02 Sep 2018 10:42:29
I love a disagree it doesn’t change the FACT he’s NOT an employee of Rangers.

21.) 02 Sep 2018 17:32:04
Was watching the Rangers 2004,s vs Partick yesterday. Kevin Thompson was taking them. Craig Mulhollans there also. No JJ

Think he departed with Jimmy Nichol.

22.) 03 Sep 2018 15:03:35
JJ was sacked by gerrard when he took over. he had a total clear out. the only one offered a job was murty.

Heard a few times Lafferty plays for hearts for peanuts as they payed off a gambling debt . No idea if it's true but it's why the deal is complicated. Hearts have got him by the balls and rightly so if they bailed him out. As I said no idea if true.

C.f. bear

1.) 16 Aug 2018 18:37:08
My understanding is hearts helped lafferty pay his debt, by managing his wages for him. This came from the player himself when he thanked Ann budge for her help and hearts help.

2.) 16 Aug 2018 21:55:27
Moral of the story don't gamble get help Lafferty.

07 Jun 2018 22:17:35
Tell you what managing to get michael beale from liverpool is a real coupe for us . It's also a big statement he was willing to leave Liverpool to come here and work with Gerrard . very well respected with managers and other coaches .

C.f. bear

1.) 08 Jun 2018 05:37:22
Thats great but we can't have the Liverpool youth team as Rangers first team this season

2.) 08 Jun 2018 10:23:19
Have to agree with Skidney - after that flurry of three half decent signings I'm concerned with the number of Liverpool kids we've not heard of being linked up here. Ejaria is absolutely not one I'm excited by tbh.

3.) 08 Jun 2018 11:47:01
too many sceptical bears on here. true Ejaria is an unknown quantity but everyone is at start of career. give the kid a chance

everyone harps on about his performance for Sunderland not being anything special last season, what do you expect? his first taste of senior level football, playing in a team that were struggling, so low on confidence and full of garbage players. anyone would struggle there

if there's one thing i'm confident in is that SG knows a midfielder when he sees one. Ejaria playing in a team that's ( hopefully ) playing well and winning could be a great player. end of the day Liverpool wouldn't have given him a longer term contract if there wasnt a player in there

lets stop the negativity and get behind the lad and anyone that is lucky enough to pull on our jersey

4.) 08 Jun 2018 11:56:10
"first taste of senior level football, playing in a team that were struggling, so low on confidence and full of garbage players*

So his second taste ain't much better is it?

5.) 08 Jun 2018 14:39:20
jbf - had six years of sh*te - fed up of blind loyalty and not questioning evidently dubious decisions.

We are surely allowed to have opinions? It's one thing to trust your manager, but another to not question anything.

03 Jun 2018 14:05:52
rumour I've heard is we are looking at Sebastian bassong. 31 yr old centre half supposedly available on a free and got great experience in epl.

C.f. bear

1.) 03 Jun 2018 14:43:14
Hope not - he hasn't kicked a ball in 12 months

2.) 03 Jun 2018 14:51:27
Slower than me and I’m 41

3.) 03 Jun 2018 15:34:42
And he’s brutal.

4.) 03 Jun 2018 17:08:24
Totally agree with comments didn't know much about him. Just looked him up and he hasn't played in a year and not got very good reviews. One rumour that better not come true.

5.) 03 Jun 2018 23:34:08
Been linked with him few times over last few seasons have we not?

Kris boyds testimonial only 4000 people turned out. I totally believe if Boyd had kept his trap shut and never berated the Glasgow rangers every week he would have had 40000. Just shows you how words can turn someone's opinion of you so quickly . The man will go down as a rangers legend because of his goal record pity about his in necessary comments to help his media career.

C.f. bear

1.) 17 Nov 2018 18:25:02
Never knew rugby park could hold 40,000. He gets paid to tell his thoughts, he was hurting like the fans, I ain't bothered with what he said as most of it was true.

2.) 18 Nov 2018 00:52:56
What a shame only 4000 punters.
He was a great goal scorer at Rangers
But that’s life. The days of big testimonials are perhaps a thing of the past.
He will not be short of a few bob. I wish him well
And his family. He’s been through a fair bit loosing his brother. Very sad
All the best Big Kris.

3.) 18 Nov 2018 00:54:19
How long did we Novo play for?

4.) 18 Nov 2018 10:21:45
The days of big testimonials are a thing of the past! I could have swore Broony had 50 thousand plus at his a few months ago! Boyd got 4 thousand because he’s a clown and a bang average player at best! Any sort of big Game he was in or should I say allowed on the park for he bottled it! If u ask me he’s lucky 4 thousand turned up! Just wonder if he’ll be shouting his mouth off about that figure! Hahaha!

5.) 18 Nov 2018 10:23:39
Novo came off the bench to score the penalty then went straight back off again!
P.S. Boyd was donating all money raised to his mental health charity. The days of top level pros filling their own pockets are long gone. Plus most aren't with a club for 10 years anymore! 👍.

6.) 18 Nov 2018 08:53:57
Novo came on, took the pen and went off again.
What exactly did Boyd say that annoyed you so much c. f bear? If you don't want to go along to show your appreciation to a Rangers legend then that's totally up to you but don't try and say you didn't go because of something he said as a pundit. I personally don't want a pundit saying everything at Ibrox is rosy when it aint.

7.) 18 Nov 2018 09:23:48
No offence intended but he isn't a Rangers player so don't see why anyone is fussed about it.

Would never regard him as a Rangers great, yes he scored a lot of goals for us. But couldn't play in Europe or score against Celtic!

Maybe he would have got more people going to it if he played the current Rangers team in a Pre Season friendly during the summer. Not in the run up to Christmas when everyone is skint!

8.) 18 Nov 2018 10:56:21
Jyf where did i say I had no appreciation of Boyd. The man's a rangers legend as far as I am concerned.

9.) 18 Nov 2018 13:25:18
Aye lh88,broony the loony is some player, in Scotland ONLY pal! Didn't move to any other league because he would have been found out big time! He's got it easy up playing here in scotland! Used to remember constantly barry ferguson ripping him a new one, when he played against scott brown! As a matter of fact so did Stevie davis waltz past broony,
with considerable EASE! Scott brown well overrated and i know celtic fans who think the same!

10.) 18 Nov 2018 13:29:38
Lh88, Boyd is a bang average player but yet is the Spl leading goalscorer of all time more goals than you’re beloved Larsson? . I would say it’s your post that makes you out to be a bit of a clown son!

11.) 18 Nov 2018 13:37:11
Sorry c. f. I thought you were having a go at him over his "in necessary"comments.

12.) 18 Nov 2018 13:44:45
@LH88 - only a bitter Tim could have a dig at Boyd for raising money for a charity! Never seen any animosity on here for the Lego muncher when it was his charity game.

And he's hardly going to get 50,000 at Rugby Park when it only holds 10,000!
I suppose you can't help but be bitter when he's outscored Larsson👍
For a supporter of a club supposedly founded for a charitable reason it's a pity you can't extend that to others.

13.) 18 Nov 2018 18:44:05
Jyf reading it back it does look like I am diggin Boyd. What I am trying to say was he has lost a lot of support amongst bears because of his comments. I think all his comments were probably true but I do think the timing of some we could have done without. Anyway he's not our player anymore so I'm going to shut up.

28 Oct 2018 19:22:03
Just arrived home from game absolutely fuming until I watched the managers interview. Clearly knows what went wrong and as he says better players needed in depth and certain players we have are not good enough. He knows sadiq should not have played but it's too late. All we can do is move forward but at least he knows where it went wrong.

C.f. bear

1.) 28 Oct 2018 19:40:28
The comment on self reflection hopefully includes himself. Top managers make big decisions. Big decisions on the players in the squad, and big decisions when things aren't working during the game. I really hope he starts making these decisions soon.

2.) 28 Oct 2018 19:48:09
Exactly cf, clearly we're all angry and hacked off BUT, we're still in the fight for the league and doing well in Europe. This team will improve, it's still early days so remember the depths we came from and have faith in Stevie G.

3.) 28 Oct 2018 19:59:20
Ok but at what point do we start saying look at where we were and start thinking of where we need to be?

4.) 28 Oct 2018 20:44:18
Ted rangers I'm sure self reflection will include himself. What possessed him to play sadiq in the first place will haunt him and opting again to play virtually a static midfield Exact same mistakes as Thursday with sadiq on top of it.

5.) 28 Oct 2018 21:47:05
If you watch stevie g's post match interview that'll answer your question. Anyone thinking he doesn't realise where we need to improve doesn't realise what a winner that boy is! He knows exactly where we need to be and gets my full support that he's the man to get us there.

06 Oct 2018 12:30:04
Wish hearts game was today as I'm very confident of a win. Very early stages of league but this win is a must. We can't be having a good euro run and forget about our bread and butter. League to me is more important.

C.f. bear

1.) 06 Oct 2018 16:50:56
A win is a must or we are 7th place.

2.) 06 Oct 2018 16:58:46
Quite happy with our game tomorrow Cf, but starting to worry as Dons, Hibs, Motherwell all winning easy so far specially Livie getting beat after beating us.

3.) 06 Oct 2018 19:38:35
Livingston never got beat.

4.) 06 Oct 2018 22:55:54
We only move up 1 place if we win tomorrow, it's the next few months that have to be good starting with tomorrow we have to be relentless and put together 5, 6,7 wins and start getting real momentum and prove that we should be feared.

5.) 06 Oct 2018 23:56:22
Motherwell 'won easy' and Livingston got beat? That'll be my coupon beat then, I had them to draw with each other.

6.) 07 Oct 2018 14:15:36
Hi What nonsense, I know now they never got beat, but look at my post time it was before half time. Even then they only drew at full time, sorry for that. let's hope we turn the domestic corner on top of the table Hearts today, cause apart from the money the Europa league is a hindrance to us in my opinion.

7.) 07 Oct 2018 14:16:45
Sorry dutycalls, your coupon's OK, was saying "SO FAR" as I posted before half time before they drew. Take it you saw the Dons an Hives full time scores tho. But up an at em Hearts today I HOPE.

Regarding the strips I got an email today from Greg the liason officer at rangers. According to Greg selling the strips at cheaper then rangers online was jd sports idea and rangers can't comment on pricing set by an external company.

Went to buy away top and ended up with long sleeved home and 3rd strip because away top sold old. Must be the favourite.

C.f. bear

1.) 21 Sep 2018 20:58:11
Just had email to say away strip coming soon after paying for strips. Anybody know was it sold out or just not released did anyone get one.

2.) 21 Sep 2018 21:24:02
Think it's only the home and third out just now. Away one to come soon I believe. Took me ages to get in website earlier but seems to be working better now.

3.) 21 Sep 2018 21:46:48
I went on at half 5 and never got through till 8.30. It seems to work every time you click on it now.

4.) 22 Sep 2018 00:11:53
When you think of players that couldn't play last night it shows the strength of squad that we've got. Last year we would have watched a game like that behind the couch. Well done SGand staff for bringing nights like that back.

5.) 22 Sep 2018 09:55:59
cf
I think they home and third are / will be the most popular so the resource are going in to producing them at the moment.

Laffertys illness is well documented hense the reason it was a big risk him coming back putting him in the spotlight again with a huge club. . away from football I hope the big man is able to control his demons and stay focused on the game like he did at hearts. The club need to protect and support him It can only benefit the player and the club . Or the opposite could happen.

Some people are unreal . We have just played our 14th game and travelled thousands of miles and it's just the start of Sep and how many losses. One. today. Our players are knackered give them a break. i looked at fixtures earlier and after the break My money is on us winning next 5 league games. Maybe that will be good enough for the lynch mobs. .

Steven Gerard could have made a lot more out the game by joining chelsea but decided to stay at Liverpool till he had achieved something and he did in winning champions league . He will do the same at Rangers i'm sure. He's here to do a job and he will succeed and will stay as long as necessary . Fully believe he will manage Liverpool in years to come. Great signing and will be great manager .

Absolutely no surprise that he has came out with this . guaranteed that the sfa and Collum have sat down and doctored the ref report to keep face for both of them. I wonder how many Muppets it took for them to come up with this . Blatant lie to cover up the joke decision and the sfa are as corrupt as the ref in this.
