Can anyone explain the Steve Clarke MELTDOWN on Sky Sports last night? I was ar the game and sat behind the Killie dug out. I honestly didn't hear anything out of order being directed at him. He gave a recognition thumbs up when the stadium called him a *anker but that's about it.

Clark is a bitter twisted hypocritical clown who obviously only hears sectarian chanting when we beat them, it's pathetic, can't wait till he gets brenda job and loses it completely 🇬🇧.

2.) 21 Feb 2019 07:46:55
He was given a rendition of cheer up Stevie Clarke
I think that is what he is bothered about.

3.) 21 Feb 2019 07:54:29
I'm assuming it's when the blue order started with the "cheer up Steve Clarke. " chant.

4.) 21 Feb 2019 08:08:26
If he was really bothered about it, why give the thumbs up in recognition. He really is twisted and should concentrate on managing his team. For me, it was all about teaching Killie a severe lesson on how how to win a football game. Fans were amazing and we showed Mr Clarke what RFC is all about. We ARE the people folks. 🇬🇧.

5.) 21 Feb 2019 09:06:21
It was the use of the term 'fenian', he objected to. As he said call him a ****er if you want but why does thee term 'fenian' need to be brought into it?
Its viewed by most Scots as sectarian and most grounds broadcast announcements saying sectarianism will not be tolerated.
Only in Scotland and only with certain teams is religious reference a factor in their songs.

6.) 21 Feb 2019 10:57:42
I remember as a kid singing that word and cringing. I still cringe when I hear it. I do sing that song but never with that word. I always say dirty I place of it.

Its all being said today fellow bears. We could split this into sections at fault all day, but NO service to our strikers means NO goals. We want to constantly play square passes in midfield all night long, without actually attacking from midfield. Its ANOTHER lesson learned for SG, but to lose an entire game to a defensive mistake and a shot at goal that really should have been saved is simply not good enough. In short, Rangers last 8 games. how many goals scored? Soeaks for itself. WE ARE THE PEOPLE, so let's start proving it to everyone else.

Ye last 8 games we’ve dominated position but done nothing with end product we were well ahead of Aberdeen they’ve caught us up on about winning league but not even guaranteed 2nd or even 3rd if we keep dropping silly points.

20 Dec 2018 16:37:50
Can i just pose a wee question to my fellow bears out there? How many of you think that Tav would make an outstanding attacking RM?

Buddyblue

1.) 20 Dec 2018 17:18:14
Not for me. final ball more a bit hit or miss.
Unfortunately more miss.

2.) 20 Dec 2018 17:28:39
His delivery is shocking and part of an attacking RM is to cover the RB. As good as it sounds it just wouldn’t work.

3.) 20 Dec 2018 18:24:59
I think Tav is a great RWB glad he's playing that for us.

4.) 20 Dec 2018 19:23:57
He's not.

5.) 20 Dec 2018 22:31:07
here here frustrated blue! i was going to reply the exact same 😂.

6.) 21 Dec 2018 09:04:39
Delivery nowhere near good enough so not for me.

20 Dec 2018 07:36:04
I thought this game was going to be close folks but we dominated almost from the start. We seem to single out particular players as an excuse for not winning but the fact of the matter is we can't score goals. Our midfield are not creative enough but are defensive and solid if that was the style we required. For me, we need a CF with a Hately style and at least 2 attacking midfielders who can burst into the box and have a go. We are SO close but just lack some essential qualities to put teams away.

Tactics were bang on last night just the quality and decision making were poor. Very frustrating game. They did defend well and their keeper had a great night, officials got a lot wrong but that's not why we didn't win, we really should have pissed that.

2.) 20 Dec 2018 10:32:30
I text my mate last night and told him I think we may be under estimating how good SG actually is. Is it the players that can't implement the game plan? Last 2 games the scores could have been silly if we had that killer touch.

3.) 20 Dec 2018 12:21:04
Geared up for some counter attacking football last night but problem is we've got players who can't counter. Need to work on some quick one touch stuff as our players are slower than a week in the jail at getting that ball in the business end. Too many touches!

4.) 20 Dec 2018 20:25:33
Lads we look to be struggling to have the capability to have a player run onto a ball and hammer it towards goal from outside the box. Albertz style the MF look out of steam when they get to the edge of the opposition box.

I know Arfield from his time at Burnley and know a bit about the deal he was offered and apparently it was more than he was on at Burnley. The chairman of Burnley Mike Garlic thought he was just about past his best. I like SA would run through a brick wall for the badge.

But, I am not sure he is the player he once was Tav and Bara over the free kicks. I would have liked to see Bara take one or two he puts in some decent balls. Tav needs to step back let someone else’s try.

5.) 20 Dec 2018 20:30:12
Couldn't understand gerrards subs. We were dominating the game yet he stuck with 3 def mids? He took grezda off who had whittaker in his back pocket!? Candieas slowed the tempo everytime. He should have took off candieas and coulibaly for middleton and lafferty, with all our domination it would have been more attacking👍.

6.) 20 Dec 2018 21:26:13
Coldco, wrong as you can only use three subs. His first two subs were to replace the injured Arfield and McCauley.

7.) 21 Dec 2018 10:12:45
Wrong again jboy, he didn't have to take mccauley off to begin with. that's why its hard to understand his subs.

Hi folks. I agree that tinkeing with the central defence partnership is not a great idea and leaking stupid goals only supports my view. I really think that Tav needs to pushed into right midfield and a strong, no nonsense right back brought in. Tav spends most of the game naturally in this area and the problems arise when he has to rush back. Davis back at ibrox is not a great future plan but its what we need right now. Thoughts?

Buddyblue

1.) 11 Dec 2018 08:19:07
if it stops the manky mob winning title get davis back, davis is still better in what we have.

2.) 11 Dec 2018 08:27:43
Tav is an excellent rb. He has always been good offensively, but since a few wobbles earlier, his defensive qualities have definitely improved.

Think you'll find it's left or left centre that the defensive frailties are appearing.

3.) 11 Dec 2018 09:45:01
I still believe Wallace should be deployed at LB.

4.) 11 Dec 2018 11:27:58
I’ve said before the Gaffer needs two more windows positive thing is we have improved and guys on here have said it’s a totally different playing for us than the rest patients.

5.) 11 Dec 2018 12:00:20
Barasic is back now and will probably be starting from now onwards.

6.) 11 Dec 2018 16:33:11
I think Tav in a right midfield permanent position would give us more options in an area that is quite obviously lacking offensive ability. Barasic is back at LB and I really do think we need to stop leaking goals guys. Davis in January is a good SHORT term solution and we all know he plays for the jersey.

7.) 11 Dec 2018 16:35:32
Davis is 34 in January, Rangers could get 3 good years out of him, 34 is certainly not old, very experienced player and easy too pay as he’s a millionaire already, just loves Rangers.

8.) 11 Dec 2018 16:39:08
Mols73 can't agree Tav is "an excellent RB" his positional sense at times is woeful causes one of CBs to cover his position leaving gaps thru middle don't want him sold only my opinion 👍👍.

9.) 11 Dec 2018 17:44:33
Flanagan is a no nonsense RB. And he's a full nonsense LB.

10.) 13 Dec 2018 17:06:01
i think its time the management team ie Gerard and co have a step back and ask themselves some questions like do we need to change the team so often or who is our strongest central defenders, do we have enough technical players for midfield to stop last weeks game going the way it did when we ran out of ideas, sometime a look at yourself helps a ton.

11.) 13 Dec 2018 17:17:59
I would like to see Flannagan played at RB for a few games to see if he can excel in his natural position. I love what Tav brings to Rangers but feel he could be an outstanding attacking midfielder long term. I am very pleased with our position in the league but we are in serious danger of making a right hash of it if we don't make necessary changes. Onward the mighty Rangers. 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Remember seeing him against Rangers and thought "why is this guy with Dundee. " He is very quick and sharp and takes men on. As I said previously, we don't have a midfielder like him and i'm really pleased we have him NOW. 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

He is very quick and can take men on easily. In my opinion, he is exactly what our midfield lacks at present. i'm pleased we have him NOW.

Saw Katic at Helsinki game and I knew he was ready to come back into team. Looks fit and strong, so I hope Goldson recovers quickly to pair up with him again. If we had pressed a bit more from midfield it could have been a lot more. Great and much needed win after break.

I think Jones was pretty quiet most of the game too. However, at least he tried a shot from 25 yards, which is something we don't see a lot of in our team. Jones might spring to life playing with Rangers and at least is is not shy about having a go.

Its 4-4-2 for me all the way. Candias should really have been on from the start because Tav had a miserable game without him. Honestly, what was SG thinking about? 1 or possibly 2 attacking midfielders required in my book. We seem to be well endowed with defensive midfielders but the distinct lack of goals scored over the last 10 games speak volumes to me.

When Worrell does fhe basics and clears his lines he looks confident but when you put him in charge of marking fast awkward players he does look lost for pace. i'm a big Katic fan and think he is always good for a goal at corners and set play. I have no idea why SG plays Worrell ahead of him, it really is a strange one to watch at times.

Kamara strolled through the game. Never worried and relaxed on the ball at ALL times. I've been banging on about him for agaes, so i'm glad to see the fans right behind him. Morelos was lethal last night and we need to find a way to score goals in his absence. Excellent result for us, with goals galore at a time when we needed to prove we could still do it.

Having such a defensive midfield causes the lack of goal scoring opportunities. Our goal scoring abilities dried up after the Motherwell 7-1 thrashing. Kent is trying hard but needs a way into the box to supply strikers. I feel Kamara WILL be the answer to this problem but for christ sake someone have a pop at goal from more than 10 yards. 🇬🇧.

The ever changing line up looks like something SG wants to develop and I can see his reasons for this with particular teams we play against but when Kamara comes into the team we should see a fast midfielder that likes to take men on and pass at pace. Kamara is the missing element to our midfield attack play and I can't wait to see him in action. He will eat Scott Brown up folks.
