Numerous reports stating joey Barton has been banished from the training ground following a bust up. And is not expected to return anytime soon.

Blurryface

1.) 16 Sep 2016 09:13:35
He's back in training on monday.

2.) 16 Sep 2016 10:26:59
wonder what he said to halliday!

3.) 16 Sep 2016 11:10:29
was only a matter of time unfortunately, he wasn't going to change - -Niko will be next, when the cold nights set in, he'll be off back to LA.

4.) 16 Sep 2016 11:57:53
Think it's a mistake by "the magic hat"? To banish him till Monday, it should have been sorted out the next day and laid to rest, really does feel like warbs is making one mistake after another, this job is to big for him, he won me over after the semi, but being realistic the guys a city trader and ex Brentford manager, this is the manager of Glasgow Rangers, one of the hardest jobs in football.

5.) 16 Sep 2016 13:22:37
I'd have halliday over Barton any day.

6.) 16 Sep 2016 13:50:12
look its not either or and as much as I agree warbs has made some big mistakes he is learning and will get it right .

hi biggest mistake was not concentrating on the defence as is he sorted that even if we only got one or two other positions covered he would have a solid base to build from but he went for midfield player after midfield play and attacking players and left the worst part of our team to the end and had to take senderos and has to stick with keirnan because quite simple the other option is bring in clint hill who is 38.

but if warbs refuses to change his formation in the away games at least at some point I will stop having faith in the guy but don't think that will happen this season .

he has next year to win it for us or he is off.

7.) 16 Sep 2016 20:10:34
I think he said what everyone is thinking. We played s*** on Saturday, at least he has the balls to say it. Am I not the only one getting tired of the same 'we'll learn from this' patter that everyone repeats. I think we will come good but at least someone at the club says what we are all thinking.

8.) 16 Sep 2016 13:32:37
Personally I would have been more upset/ alarmed if there HADN'T been some sort of reaction like this. As someone else mentioned, in the past there have been all sorts of bust ups after games, part and parcel of the game especially when you have fans in the dressing room.

Although we don't know the details, it appears Barton as the elder statesman is trying to get a positive reaction out of his team mates and it has gone sour. Big deal. The suspension until Monday probably indicates that it went a bit too far. Big deal.

So long as it doesn't go beyond this into the next game then fine.

9.) 16 Sep 2016 23:47:36
Halliday and Barton having a wee barney. It's just like 2 wee grannies having an argument in Aldi over the last tin of 10p beans. lol.

10.) 18 Sep 2016 19:51:53
fine to see another unwashable on our site.

11 Aug 2016 01:41:21
French newspaper spouting rangers have offered a deal to 34yr old defender rod fanni.

Blurryface

1.) 11 Aug 2016 07:29:11
That was rubbished yesterday by The Record of all papers. They claim they got that info from an Ibrox source.

2.) 11 Aug 2016 17:21:37
Is Fanni a CH? And never heard if the guy but his name ain't going to go down well eh but any case is the guy any good?

23 Jun 2016 19:11:08
Rangers linked to Colchester striker marven sordell.

Source Hitc.

Blurryface

1.) 23 Jun 2016 20:02:25
Was that not doing the rounds in January.

2.) 23 Jun 2016 20:18:00
Wouldn't take him what so ever, scored 4 goals this season, amazing for a striker.

3.) 23 Jun 2016 20:32:29
Sordell was crap at Bolton, my Burnley supporting friends said they were not surprised at all when he was released because he was crap there. We didn't take him in January when we had a chance and I cannot see it now. 35 goals in 159 games speaks for itself.

4.) 23 Jun 2016 20:37:07
Doesn't say we are linked with him it says should warburton go for him.

5.) 23 Jun 2016 21:01:34
Gers b, look at the stats, the season defore waggy joined us he played 29 games and scored 5,that's not a great return is it! if the rumour is true and we are interested I trust warbs to get the best out of him.

6.) 23 Jun 2016 21:34:12
I love the warbs turns players round but his goal return is terrible we need a diamond in the ruff not a gold plated patato in the sea he's a no no sure there's a player out the but not him.

7.) 23 Jun 2016 21:43:45
I'd rather cummings or bradshaw. Yes I'm aware bradshaw would cost 1million but if he's successful for 2 seasons etc winning championships and getting a massive transfer fee in future then he'd be well worth that.

8.) 23 Jun 2016 21:53:25
Wouldn't go by HITC. Just gives suggestions who may or not b available or who they could look at rather than who they are actually interested in.

9.) 23 Jun 2016 23:13:52
Forfarger, I know what you mean mate but I still wouldn't take a chance on him, we almost took him in January and I think we dodged a bullet with him then and hopefully again we do this summer, simply not good enough.

10.) 24 Jun 2016 00:08:43
Couldn't agree more with forfarger!

Love seeing the transformation from players as warbs works his magic. Tbh think warbs could get the same turnout from a player like Sordell compared to Bradshaw when we would be saving tonnes as well!

(Which could be spent on other areas we NEED to improve)

11.) 24 Jun 2016 05:59:35
Remember waghorn only scored 5 goals in 29 appearances for wigan 🤔 think sordell got same stats 😎.

12.) 24 Jun 2016 07:01:57
The point I was making p69 is that under warbs waghorn has been great, who's to say that sordell couldn't do the same? whether he comes to us or not is out of our hands, it's up to the manager, if he thinks he's good enough that's enough for me, he hasn't had a bad signing yet.

13.) 24 Jun 2016 13:40:16
expecting to get the same out of waggy this season would be crazy its ok doing that against smaller teams but the step up in class defensively this season will make it harder for him.
I would rather get a proven goalscorer than to take any chances this season I trust warburton but think that we need sum1 with real quality and I think we will have to spend a little to get that!

just my opinion.

Adrian Mariappa soon to be out of contract among many defenders to be linked in coming days.

10 Jan 2016 21:40:43
According to Get West London, Rangers are plotting a swoop to sign Barnet's teenage striker Matt Stevens. The 17yr old was subject of a turned down 250;000 bid from Swansea in the summer so could be priced out.

Blurryface

1.) 11 Jan 2016 08:14:42
Just seen this as well. His contract runs out in the summer though so we could take him up in the summer and pay a development fee again. Also it's been mentioned that we are interested in O'halloran again.

Other than marriappa the 2 centre backs that fit the bill right now are both free agents.

David wheater and Kelvin Wilson.

Blurryface

1.) 03 Aug 2016 05:23:38
Kelvin wilsons signed for rotherham.

2.) 03 Aug 2016 21:24:11
Any chance we can try and talk Emilson Cribari and Anestis Argyriou to come back they were a couple of diamonds McCoist signed

Just saying

#55 is coming soon.

Impossible to say who's starts between Gilks and fodders at the moment.

I have to say that hodson has impressed me more than tav.

Cb so far Wilson would be my first choice. Not saying he's great but with the right partner he can do well. Keirnan is just awful not fit for the Jersey.

Ohallaron I think deserves a run in the team out right. Rossiter should maybe get the nod over niko until nikos fitness improves.

Up top anyone who says dodoo should start before waggy is mental. Dodoo has yet to impress and has a lot to prove yet. Hope he come good until late then he will have to fight for his place.

Yes a cb is a must. I also feel that we need to be realistic and if kyle lafferty is available he should be signed without a doubt.

Blurryface

1.) 31 Jul 2016 18:15:39
Kyle Lafferty should be no where near Ibrox.

28 Jul 2016 17:13:04
Junior Hoilett out of contract at qpr plays across the front 3. Fits mw style of player down to a tee.

This has a lot of substance compared to the David villa rumour I started.

Blurryface

1.) 28 Jul 2016 19:12:54
Plus he played for QPR so fits the criteria haha.

2.) 28 Jul 2016 22:58:46
Getting the team ready for Rednapp in 2019 ;)

3.) 29 Jul 2016 17:49:10
Would be a great singing already played with NK and JB.

18 Jul 2016 19:06:21
What do folk think of this revamped bet Fred league cup format?

I think its a heap of pish.

Blurryface

1.) 18 Jul 2016 21:19:58
The League Cup is a pointless competition and has been since the automatic qualification for Europe was removed.

It should have been restructured as an under 21's competition!

2.) 18 Jul 2016 21:26:38
Not sure about the 1 point penalty rule but like the idea of competitive games to get match fit.

3.) 18 Jul 2016 22:21:48
I agree its lost its appeal since the European place was removed.
Its new format with the final before Christmas is good and is still important as 1st leg of the Treble.
As for the group games I think they should have the 2 highest ranked teams playing each other in final group game so it gives those sides better preperation as part of their preseason and could add a bit of spice if both sides need the points going into final group game.

4.) 18 Jul 2016 23:58:49
Think it will work out well
We just got caught this year it good for the wee teams to get up to speed and get a bit of money.

5.) 19 Jul 2016 03:22:24
I like it although Warbs is right about increasing the number of subs during group phase as its still usually pre-season, I also thinly UEFA need to bring back the Cup Winners Cup and this could be used for clubs to enter via Lge cup AND Lge position!

I'd love the guy. Are midfield is mince we need a hard man with pace in there allow rossiter and windlass to play. Be better than watching Barton and kranjar sitting on there deck chairs.

Every ones missing the point here. Even if they offered 20m if tav doesn't want to leave he can't be made to. End off.

Kazmainia82 why you having a go at me I never even said Wether I'd like chamakh or not. merely said if he can stay fit could be a good addition big if but if mw thinks he's worth a pop then I'd suggest the majority of our fans would back him.

Aye because all 5ft 4 off him will sort out the problems in the air. Honestly some folk don't have a clue. Why don't we stick Hill up top he scored 2 last time he could be our new jelavic.

I'd agree with most of that I do think Warbs will play kranjcar to get him another game under his belt to get his match sharpness up though.

Think it will be
Gilks
Tav keirnan Wilson hodson
Rossiter Barton
Kranjcar
Dodoo miller forrester.
