if warbs doesn't do some good business today then i'd stop saying in warbs I trust because its stupidity if we don't nothing other than stupidity.

this is the area we needed to work on all year last year but still nothing done about it! #RAGE.

RFC website
Gilks signed
Delighted so far would love mariappa and a top quality striker.

Blueshaun

1.) 24 Jun 2016 13:52:53
Mariappa, striker and MW and DW tied down on long term deal would round off a phenomenal summer transfer window!

2.) 25 Jun 2016 21:34:58
Agreed the biggest signing of the summer would be the management team extending their contracts.

I'm still convinced Gilks should be in in front of Fod at the moment. He's far more vocal and commanding around the box which I think we are missing at set pieces. Don't get me wrong I still think Fod will developed into our first choice but at the moment he's not organising his CD'S enough.

Blueshaun

1.) 03 Sep 2016 21:04:48
Totally agree blueshaun. Big wes frightens the life out of me.

2.) 03 Sep 2016 22:30:01
It's ideal there is serious competition for the jersey.

You have to admit though, there's no way Warburton is going to leave out Wes.

Same with McKay. He's a favourite of the manager and you'd have to say Keirnan is one of his fav's also.

Foderingham, Keirnan, McKay, Miller, Wallace, Tavernier and Forrester I'd say are all his preferred players. Maybe Andy as well. They will get a game no matter how things are going.

3.) 04 Sep 2016 00:00:16
The rangers team to start against celtic next week imo will be-
Foderingham
Tavernier, kiernan, senderos, wallace,
Barton
Forrester, rossiter
Waghorn, miller, mckay,
Thats the starting team I think warbs will go with, what do we think fellow bears?

4.) 04 Sep 2016 02:53:25
Strong possibility warbs will go with that line up.

5.) 04 Sep 2016 02:54:01
Although I think windlass will start.

6.) 04 Sep 2016 08:26:10
Would like to see

Gilks
Tav senderos wilson waldo
Barton Rossiter Windass
Waggy Garner Nico

Can't see it though I agree he has his favourites . Mckay hasn't earned his spot this year for me.

7.) 04 Sep 2016 10:02:27
Can't see waghorn starting not fit enough and we saw in cup final he isn't sort of player who can pull that off as his game is all pace and power.

8.) 04 Sep 2016 10:17:21
Blueshaun

You've picked 8 players with no previous old firm experience so I can't see him doing that.

9.) 04 Sep 2016 10:58:09
Think Halliday will start and forrester will play as part of front 3! Halliday will scrap for every ball and that is vital against them, reckon Warbs starts with Barton rossiter and Halliday to win the battle in midfield.

10.) 04 Sep 2016 11:39:50
I think you are probably right with that midfield and while you may be right that Halli day will scrap for every ball it does worry me. When they've played together so far they've lacked pace and invention and one thing Celtic have is pace. Windass would be my choice as it looks as though Holt won't be fit enough. Whoever plays though even though this is still early in the season and you only get three points for winning this matters, this really matters and every one who plays needs to understand that and plays like it (take heed Joey Barton in particular) . So-C'MON THE GERS!

11.) 04 Sep 2016 23:07:28
Holy will be ready.

12.) 05 Sep 2016 14:55:40
for me holt will be missed this game but windass looks like a good player. I wouldn't play rossiter and barton in at the same time unless we play 4.4.2.
which we wont.

A couple of years in the sun and heat of Athens or a year or 2 in the cold wet rubbish we get in the west of Scotland. I know he would be playing for our glorious rangers but he's off on holiday for 2 years. Well rid if that's his attitude.

Blueshaun

1.) 29 Aug 2016 16:08:30
Should have payed him the money then.

2.) 29 Aug 2016 17:11:39
It was family reasons wasn't it, Glasgow a bit far? no wait failed medical .? no wait was it really down to money? any truth out there from our board etc. Farce . and the Sendros one getting as bad, sign him or tell truth and tell us he not coming .

3.) 29 Aug 2016 22:58:24
Personally I reckon we have been fortunate to miss out on this guy. We might have ended up with a more expensive flop than Hill!

27 Aug 2016 15:58:36
Anton Ferdinand signs for Southend thank goodness for that . We can all put that awfull rumour to bed now. Phew.

Anyone heard the prognosis on Dodoo? Plastic pitch takes another player down.

Blueshaun

1.) 27 Aug 2016 16:26:15
It wasn't the Plastic Pitch it was the Kilmarnock Goallie!

2.) 27 Aug 2016 16:38:10
Think it was the Kilmarnock defender that was attempting to cuddle him and not the goalie or the pitch.

3.) 27 Aug 2016 16:55:29
Yes defender at him for 20 yards, should have been penalty! Hope the boy is okay, looks to be bright and lively, just what we need more of.

4.) 27 Aug 2016 17:40:37
he hurt himself jumping for a ball he was never getting. ref was awful again just like his pals last week. how many times is a rangers player pulled to ground in box it's shocking.

20 Aug 2016 20:00:37
Bears time to get a grip. People complaining about "tippy tappy" football should think back to the last couple of years of rubbish we've been watching. Just so that you know guys it's about ball retention. I'll admit there's not enough penetrative at the moment and we could do with rossiter barton and nico maybe having a shot front the 18 yard box but please let's not go back to the dark ages of kick and rush ally or the long ball merchants.

Blueshaun

1.) 20 Aug 2016 21:16:59
That's the point I was making Blueshaun, I understand the basics of ball retention. If we have it use canny score!
However to sit and watch this week after week without a plan b or goal scoring chances being created is boring.
I fully trust the magic hat and the team to get it right eventually but I fear we may draw too many games up to Christmas therefore handing the title to the great unwashed.
Europe will do me this year and look to a serious push for the title next season.

2.) 20 Aug 2016 21:35:13
I am not complaining about our style of play but it's got to have an end product and we don't have that just now, I also think we can't play rossiter, Barton and Halliday in the same team as they are too similiar and slow our play Down but hopefully once holt and windass are fit they will make a big difference in making penetrating runs beyond the oppositions defence. One final plea please Can McKay take on a defender and not stop and pass back it does my head in .

3.) 20 Aug 2016 22:02:57
Don't think anyone wants a return to long ball game- just bit more variation, injection of pace, purpose and cutting edge.

4.) 20 Aug 2016 22:57:56
Just joined and this is my first post/ reply

I agree Blueshaun but we are the most fickle fans in Scotland.

We beat the Thims and suddenly we are going for 55

This is a work in progress and there will be more games like today

Once the team gels and we get the right combination of "first 11". we will be hard to beat.

In Warburton we trust.

5.) 20 Aug 2016 23:26:09
So be honest, you really can't beat some good penetration 😋.

Get a grip how often do we see players going from Mexican league to the Spanish, Italian and French leagues. Then think how often do players from up here move to any of the more decent leagues? Just about any 1st division football league is a step up from our pile of steaming sh1t. If they are good enough for the manager then they will do for me

We used to take the better players from other Scottish clubs all the time, strengthening our team while weakening thiers. Celtic have been doing that a bit recently and I'm happy we are going to start doing it again. Add in a few decent "Pedro" signings and we will start to close the gap to the sheep

Just because he stuck with us and gives 100% doesn't make him a good captain or player. He hasn't had a good season and I would let him go if he wants to leave. He's not the future of our club. He's been a good servant, no more than that. I'm not slating him at all but he's had his best days and maybe it's time to move on
