I really think we need to speak to someone like alex mcleish and get him in until the end of the season. He would steady the ship, knows the club and what it takes to manage and will give to players a kick up the back side!

i’d prefer to stick with murty, he’s doing fine just now maybe he should get a chance til the end of the season? pretty sure pep guardiola and luis enrique and zidane were all youth team coaches before taking over barca/ real. i’m not saying it’s the same cause they have dyno players but i can’t think of a similar example in britain

2.) 09 Dec 2017 20:07:58
Steady a ship that’s won 3 games in a row . Murty doing well enough to be given till end of the season re asses it in January for me if still going well give him the transfer window and give the man a chance

3.) 09 Dec 2017 20:16:08
totally agree

4.) 09 Dec 2017 20:38:04
If he keeps winning why not give him the job on a permanent basis!

Glad Coleman knocked us back! His club record is awful!

Bluesboy81

1.) 19 Nov 2017 18:59:19
Did he really knock us back?

Yeah he was interviewed but he wasn’t offered it by the board there n then Sunderland came in n he went. i might be wrong

2.) 19 Nov 2017 23:34:23
No one has been offered the job. Lots have been spoken to, this is more media bs! I don’t believe anything will happen this week and still not convinced that McInnes is number 1 choice.

Really wanted it to work out for Pedro as I think he is a real character! Unfortunately I just can’t see how things can improve from here. It’s the same story, we get a few good results but we just fall apart when ever a big game comes along.

He has only just started a project had to basically change a hole squad around it was never going to be a quick fix he he has more transfer windows to come yet he will turn it around I'm still sure he will.

another post in denial

Deanobear

This clown lost to a part time team from Luxembourg. We are no better than the Motherwells and Hearts of this world and if you think we will do anything under him then your delusional. If your happy with that then it shows how low we have fallen. Sad times

4.) 222 Oct 2017 22:47:14
Motherwell have had to build a new side so your post is non starter

5.) 23 Oct 2017 11:00:50
Been saying it for ages, he isn't up to the job. he's a real character but that usually means a right nut job and he is. Time to go.

Good preformance for most of the game and took our chances. It's so frustrating sometime with how many times we give the ball away cheaply with stray passes! Against the likes of Celtic and the Dons that will cost us dearly if we don't tighten up on it.

Yip spot on, so careless in 2nd half with passes. don't know if it was because we thot game was over

I can't believe how much has been said in the press about ex players suddenly being world beaters after leaving the club! Yes they have all started well but let's face it non of them set the world alight at rangers! Let's see how good they are come the end of the season. Waghorn was okay but missed far to many chances and never delivered in big games, Mckay hadn't had a good game since the Hogmanay old firm and wanted to leave, o'halloran was poor. The only one who I thought might have stayed was Garner just because he might have suited the 442 system. The way the press are going on they will be saying we should have kept warburton just because he has had a decent start at forest next!

Waghorn was a top pro he gave his all right too the end even when he maybe knew his time was up and for that I hope he goes on to have a great career. Garner always gave his best in a system that never favoured him and for that I wish him the best.

As for the other two they are a couple of let down that have talent but not as much as they think they have and got too big for there boots as seen when McKay stopped playing well then when O'halleron didn't turn up for a u20 game both never had the attitude too succused at Rangers the shirt was just too heavy for they two spineless Mankys

The only way I see Big Eck getting the job would be if it was in the short term. The board might have someone in mind for the long term but if they can’t get them then bringing Big Eck in the steady the ship until the end of season would make sense. It would give the board and dof plenty of time to find the long term appointment. We might also have some more investment after the AGM so would make the job more appealing ect

If it was the Everton era Moyes then he would be a good choice but I do t think he has ever recovered from Man U.

Personally I think he would be a disaster! He has publicly slated scottish football and his record is pretty poor really. He seems to have one good season with teams then they just fall apart.

To be fair when he took over Bristol City he had to sell most of the squad due to finances then had very little money to rebuild so the problems they had were not all down to him. He’s done a great job with the Dons and surely deserves a crack at Rangers
