Aarono 76

1.) 23 Jun 2016 00:42:42
Rumoured he will be paraded on thurs
At Ibrox if he had failed it would of been
Released straight away.

2.) 23 Jun 2016 00:43:36
was speaking to 2 coaches today and said everything went well and is expected to sign.

3.) 23 Jun 2016 07:22:05
Any news on niko ed wants this deal sorted ASAP.

{Ed001's Note - just waiting on medical results, which could be anything up to 48hrs depending on the thoroughness of the medical, insurance requirements and past injury history.}

4.) 23 Jun 2016 07:50:44

{Ed001's Note - you are welcome mate.}

5.) 23 Jun 2016 08:13:07
I hope he signs while it's sunny because it will probably rain for 2 months lol thank fek the season starts in the summer.

6.) 23 Jun 2016 10:22:43
Done, welcome Niko.

19 Jun 2016 17:59:35
Any news on a striker coming in I know we struggled at the back last year, but I think the goals dried up when waghorn got injured with the rest of the front line no cutting it.

Aarono 76

1.) 19 Jun 2016 19:24:39
Looks like the guy Vaughan is the new name being banded about mate. Guy seems to get injured a fair bit but any decent finisher in our team will get a proper return.

2.) 19 Jun 2016 21:43:26
Vaughan is shit.

3.) 19 Jun 2016 18:12:43
We won't be able to struggle for goals at any point this season we will need players that will score goals straight away we all no that we need a consistent goal scorer for every fan in any team want that buzzing to see who that might be.

4.) 20 Jun 2016 10:56:21
warburton isn't daft he will bring in someone i just can't wait to see who it is either absolutely buzzing for the new season.

See Sutton at it again new manager shouldn't be fouled be rangers battling performance yesterday saying celtic should have won anyway relying on a questable penalty claim games of football are full of what if this what if that's, what if waghorn had scored his two clear cut chances it would have been 2-3 who's to say they would have scored their penalty if they they got it anyway.

Aarono 76

1.) 13 Mar 2017 10:50:52
It's Sutton, we could have won 4-0 and he still would have said Celtic deserved the win

2.) 13 Mar 2017 11:27:18
Some of our own pundits pander to them as well. Big dj and dalziel predicted 3-0 for Celtic. Andy little went for 1-1 so well done to him.

3.) 13 Mar 2017 16:33:36
Just because the pundits played for rangers doesn't mean they have to say they are going win. Speaking the truth is better.

4.) 13 Mar 2017 19:46:09
Big DJ has joined the dark side on Clyde. Surrounded by them.

5.) 13 Mar 2017 21:04:08
I loved the guy on SSB tonite (Aiden fi port glasgow) who rattled on about miller, waghorn, hill and holt should all have seen red then when big DJ asked the dhim about Broons blatant elbow on Holt he said, "i didn't see that 1" 😂😂

6.) 15 Mar 2017 23:59:23
their manager said their players ned protection and now all the fans say is they should have beensent off all the time when its barely even a foul

21 Feb 2017 08:57:28
Hopefully mcleish till the end of the season finish second then de boer in summer that would be brilliant.

Aarono 76

1.) 22 Feb 2017 09:48:32
No decent manager would entertain us while we are in this state in my opinion unless they are garunteed a decent amount of money to try and sort this shambles out, I just can't see us getting serious investment for a while to come yet but hopefully I am proved wrong because this is heartbreaking to see our team go through this crap again

2.) 22 Feb 2017 10:44:14
That would be my preference tbh, but doubt if it will happen. No pot to pass in or I'm sure an interim manager would have been in place by now. Murty is not the answer and it's not his fault. If you think he's like a rabbit caught in the headlights just now, imagine what he'd look like walking out at Parkhead in a couple of weeks' time.

19 Feb 2017 16:25:08
A decent manager with a warchest at the end of the season or I can't see us finishing top six never mind first or second everyone worries about administration can it really get any worse maybe then we mite get another owner that does want to take us forward just saying.

Aarono 76

19 Feb 2017 16:00:20
Finish second no chance none of them deserve to wear the Jersey king get your finger out and get a manager in till the end of the season tell you what if we buy season tickets to watch this dross we, d be off our heads.

Aarono 76

1.) 19 Feb 2017 16:07:15
Gers are terrible simple as that . Don't have a clue . Keirnan never a football player. Give him a free to arbroath or something. Can't watch it anymore the teams a joke

2.) 19 Feb 2017 16:07:25
It doesn't matter who the next manager is, fact is we have a bunch of duds. Those players except maybe 1 or 2 are simply not good enough. They are Warburton signings, he's gone, take your signings with you please!

3.) 19 Feb 2017 17:06:05
Utter shambles, stray passes, poor first touch and some of the team hiding. Halliday, Waghorn and McKay not interested. Murty like McDowall before doesn't want to be there and the team are cheating the fans who made the trip up there. Total disgrace to the club

18 Feb 2017 17:46:05
I do believe if rangers apoint de boer I think money would be made available I'm no saying how much, we need to take some risk at some point when it comes to money if no we can say goodbye to the spl for the rest of our days never mind celtic getting ten in a row if king doesn't want to invest real money in the club the club he also loves he should sell up and let someone else that is wanting to take us forward do we really want to play second fiddle to celtic ever season that's if we, re lucky Aberdeen and hearts and Co are a lot close than they've ever been, warburton weir were a cheap option that didn't work results speak from there self REAL INVESTMENT IS NEEDED just my thought's warp.

Aarono 76

1.) 18 Feb 2017 18:58:42
Aarono 76. You said if King doesn't want to invest, in reality he can't invest as he is skint. As for selling up as you put it, he has been trying to do that for a while now. King has to find money to keep our club afloat until the end of the season which is no easy task as who in their right mind would invest in Rangers when we do not even have a Monad. We also don't have a credit line to the bank. My worry is we could go into administration again.

2.) 18 Feb 2017 19:04:01
Before king came in there was no investment he came in and steadied the ship he might not be spending like crazy but we r where we are because we brought in duds warbs daughters outcasts no wonder he held back the cash I do agree it's now time to take a risk and bring in the right man if that means spending money then 45.000 season ticket money will be available if it's a big name the Rangers fans proved we will be there money needs to be there to buy at least 10 players with quality

3.) 18 Feb 2017 21:42:15
Humey, the season ticket money is needed to keep the lights on for half the season each year, then we rely on loans from the directors. Ignoring these facts which are publicly and freely available in our published accounts just leads to utter drivel fantasies like your post. When is the penny going to drop with people like you, we can't rely on fantasy sugar daddies, we need to get serious about running our club as a sensible business and forget about catching celtic for the forseeable future. Do you actually care about them enough to put the existence of our own club in jeopardy all over again? Why can't we just face the reality of our situation and stop demanding that some big rich man must appear like magic soon and come and save us!?

4.) 18 Feb 2017 21:59:39
Gor, the word you are thinking of is Nomad.

Get behind the club instead of inventing doomsday scenarios. DK made it perfectly clear where we stand with his statement last weekend. I hear that Berwick Rangers are happy to accept turncoat supporters of any other club. Just a thought?

5.) 19 Feb 2017 03:29:24
Yes BR65, nomad is correct, stupid predictive text.

6.) 19 Feb 2017 10:38:33
So he is a turncoat for not being oblivious to the dire financial situation we are in? Come on. If more fans had been like Gor we wouldn't be in this mess.

7.) 19 Feb 2017 10:52:18
Pauline blue: I agree, no rush to catch Celtic to jeopardise our club, but Robertson said money will be available to the new manager.

8.) 19 Feb 2017 11:45:33
Joscro, yes but why is Robertson saying that? Because we can actually afford to do that? or because of the implied threat, from so called fans like Humey, that if big money isn't being spent then season ticket sales will drop. You can see Robertson's dilemma, but it's a Catch22 situation that the leaders of our club need to braver to extricate themselves from. They need to be strong enough to break the cycle. They should be up front with the fans, tell them 'look, this is how it really is', and appeal to our famous sense of loyalty. Not pander to the sugar daddy mentality and lack of patience that will only lead to ruin.

9.) 19 Feb 2017 11:16:45
Am not saying that a big investment is due or there's millions to spend but would love it to happen. Dave king has done a lot to keep the lights on but there's money out there and we need to get the right people in.

it won't take £100 million to catch the other side it might just take the right manager and some good football players. I'm just thinking positive not saying it will happen over night but it's not as far away as some fans think.

br brought in 3 players and turned that lot into to a solid team they were rubbish under Ronny Deila. our players need confidence and the right man to build us up.

there's no quick fix but I won't accept they're going to run over us for years. as a season ticket holder I think I have the right to share my opinion. I might be wrong but I still believe in us as a team from where we have come from.

10.) 19 Feb 2017 11:27:37
I would hardly say king is skint, he can probably can still afford a descent curry and a few beers on a Friday night.

11.) 19 Feb 2017 22:37:58
do people really think the season ticket money comes in and that it is in the bank ready to spend on players? - it's not.

the money isn't even enough to run the club for a full season. we run at a loss and will do till we get rid of Ashley or at least that would help out.

kit deal is a joke until we have a share issue and raise some capital. there is no easy way out here, it will take time and forget about Celtic they are over the hill and far away we just have to accept that for now. I know that is hard to take but we are where we are. let's hope for three points today and 442, we need to score goals.

12.) 19 Feb 2017 12:23:10
So the consensus seems to be: 1. there may be some investment out there that we could attract, but it probably won't be that much, and we're not going back to having any real spending power any time soon. 2. The Ashley situation restricts our revenue, but even when that gets sorted out (5 years down the line) the extra revenue will help us a bit but won't restore us in and of itself to any real spending power. 3. We can't of course afford a big name manager just now and any talk of that is just wishful thinking. 4. We may, however, get very lucky and get the right (low key) manager with the right man management skills and right support from the board to make a decent fist of challenging for top spot, as money isn't everything in football.
Sanity prevails. Let's all move on to another thread before someone starts talking about Frank de Boer again.
