Strong rumours that Dave King is to be booted out. If true that is very good news.

ABHABH1

1.) 17 Nov 2015 18:50:40
Booted out of where? What planet are you on?

2.) 17 Nov 2015 18:59:17
why is that very good?

3.) 17 Nov 2015 19:01:24
Care for an explanation? Or just here to make negative statements?

4.) 17 Nov 2015 20:09:12
I heard Park is determined to buy Kings shares. Its no secret he can't go King and may see Ashleys personal vendetta with him ending badly for the Club.

5.) 17 Nov 2015 19:42:56
Booted off the board. This can only be viewed as positive news. King has done nothing but damage the club for the past 2 years, he continues to drag the club through the mud and his court appearance in December appears to be the final straw. He has antagonised Ashley far too much and the growing number of court cases will ultimately cost us more than King will ever bring to the club. If this is true this is the best thing to happen for us.

6.) 17 Nov 2015 19:58:16
Just another 1 of them obsessed with us.

7.) 17 Nov 2015 23:45:08
Davie1980, you beat me to it mate.

8.) 18 Nov 2015 08:33:28
Dave Kings secured the club away from the previous regime, brought in a new manager that has transformed the playing side, let that manager bring in a whole new team whilst getting the players that were left over playing well again, slowly building up the backroom staff to make the club a proper football club again, starting to sort out the scouting team and starting to improve the stadium at the same time.

All this with very little controversial press apart from what has been left over from the old regime.

ABH, you don't have a clue what you're on about!

9.) 18 Nov 2015 08:45:56
ABHABH1 I try not to be a, if you don't agree with what I say your wrong, but you make it very difficult. The only US who would be happy to see DK go are Celtic.

10.) 18 Nov 2015 10:09:00
I can't believe some of the p1sh I read on here sometimes. Bigandy hit the nail right on the head, where WOULD we be without DK? He may not be perfect but I believe he has the clubs best interests at heart and I certainly feel more confident having him at the helm as opposed to the last regime. Let's try and get behind our club folks. The last few years have been bad enough!

11.) 18 Nov 2015 19:10:28
I think people are forgetting King has already ploughed in and lost £20m. By the time he's finished he'll probably be the clubs largest ever single investor. That's why Celtic fans like ABA are trying to undermine what is happening at our club.
If Dave King comes out all guns blazing in the summer transfer market with Warburton and his backroom team in charge Celtic will have serious problems. We have a better manager and more loyal fan base. There on the down, we're on the up, simple.

12.) 18 Nov 2015 12:07:34
My god Dave King has been superb for Rangers, the only reason Mike Ashley is battling us is because he has found out this board does not put their own interests before the club. we finally have people that won't back down, and yeah so he might not put 30 million into the club, btw I said might, but one thing I'm sure of is that with this board we will be run properly. the turnaround in 6 months has been incredible, considering there is still so many people blocking them at every turn.

13.) 18 Nov 2015 22:17:43
ABHABH1, you are no Rangers fan and come over as one of the envious, green obsessives.

14.) 18 Nov 2015 21:22:09
Ok, it appears that I am very much in the minority here. However, I was in the minority when I wasn't taken in by either Whyte or Green. We shall wait and see. If I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up.

15.) 19 Nov 2015 10:48:16
Every fan is entitled to their opinion but surely people can see what's trying to be done at ibrox now.

16.) 20 Nov 2015 15:24:19
King is no saint. But to compare him to whyte or green is ridiculous. Yes ask serious questions of him and the board but remember the current players (king, Murray and park) are investigating out of love for the club not to leach every penny they can like Ashley, whyte, green and the man who caused it all - David Murray.

Ashley has his hands round the throat of the club and proves that in UK that if your rich you can do what you want. He is not just trying to ruin us- his empire was built on destroying the competition then buying their liquidated stock at knock down prices. Along with treating staff like slaves.

Any gers fan who spends a single penny in sports direct should really have a bit more intelligence. You aren't helping the club- your helping destroy it.

Good sources are suggesting that Warbs will be approached for the Aston Villa job once Tim Sherwood is sacked. Will be gutted if true, without doubt the best manager in Scotland.

ABHABH1

1.) 25 Oct 2015 15:06:43
Moyes being quoted as favourite to take over as per skybet. let's hope the magic man stays to finish what he started.

2.) 25 Oct 2015 16:18:28
If he goes he goes, probably won't at moment, hope he stays because he has started a project which could see him gain legendary status, if the worst happens then McInnes would be very interested indeed.

3.) 25 Oct 2015 19:01:53
I would be surprised if an EPL team came in for him, at this time. He has done a good job for us, and long may it continue, but I reckon Villa need a tried and trusted manager at EPL level to survive this season.

4.) 26 Oct 2015 11:01:43
Very unlikely any English PL board would ever take a manager from the second tier of Scottish football no matter how talented so I won't be worrying on that score. As for Derek McInnes, used to rate him quite highly as a manager but what exactly has he achieved?

Early exit from Europe, one League Cup win, second to a second rate Celtic and his team have just imploded.

Serious question for everyone complaining about the Murty appointment - what are your expectations? I really think he'll get us to second place above the sh&&p. What more can we expect?

ABHABH1

1.) 22 Dec 2017 18:28:39
honesty and transparency from the board, not treating us like children with their comments, not taking six weeks to decide the guy that was there all along was the way forward. want me to go on?

2.) 22 Dec 2017 19:17:04
Snell the board and murty should be kept separate in our supporters opinions! The board undoubtedly don't come out of this smelling of roses but murty deserves our complete backing and a chance!

3.) 22 Dec 2017 21:05:58
im not disagreeing with you coop mate. my wrath is aimed firmly at the board. i appreciate Murty for doing the best job he can.

01 May 2016 20:12:15
Ok. League season over, 1 year later than expected but finally we will be in the top tier next season. Question is how do we all think we will perform next year?

ABHABH1

1.) 01 May 2016 20:55:09
I honestly think we'll finish in the top 3 in our first season back in the big league, with a few good signings WITHOUT spending massive amounts of money we will do pretty good, warbs has an eye for a player, in warbs we trust!

2.) 02 May 2016 07:53:56
I still think we will challenge for the title as on our day we are better than most premier clubs, but defensive pairing plus keeper giving me cause for concern, hope warbs addresses that area of the park, as they don, t fill me with confidence, let, s hope they can get us through the cup final, then I think they will be squad players, Fods culpable both goals and Wilson and Kiernan against St Mirren dreadful.
my opinion.

3.) 02 May 2016 08:41:42
Could do with a keeper that's going to give Foderingham competition for his place plus a couple of centre backs also as Fod, Wilson, and Kiernan are certain to be in the starting eleven.
Players can become complacent if they know they are guaranteed to start every game.

4.) 02 May 2016 11:17:36
I've been trying to remain positive on the defence because of the lack of cover they have had from not having a proper CDM. It's getting harder to back them up though as its all individual mistakes they are making constantly. If anything this wee bad run we've been on could be a blessing, as surely the manager now knows he can't have Wes, Wilson and Kiernan as our main defenders next year. They have fell apart recently.
The lack of competition has made them too complacent and I just hope we can get it together for the final. Great to see Waggy back though.

MW being linked with these jobs is pure PR. With all due respect he has done nothing to warrant being linked with all these jobs. However it helps distract all the fans from the disaster that is the current board.

We couldn't come to an agreement with Assulin. We wanted him to extend his trial period but he refused.

MW has already stated that we may be forced to sell players so highly unlikely that we will be buying any players. We will be signing free transfers and loanees for the foreseeable future.

TOMUSA the signatories on the deal were King and Paul Murray so seems King was very much involved in the screw up

Maybe we should be looking closer to home and asking why our chairman paid £3m to Ashley to get this deal and declared it a victory.

Pretty sure LNS did not say that. Pressure will come from other clubs for a new investigation regardless of what SPFL want.

With patience we will see good performances, but it will take a lot of patience. Any money we have needs to be invested in a youth academy and develop our own talent. That will mean years without a title but will at least mean long term survival.

As per the latest accounts we will need more soft loans in march. This assumed January sales and did not anticipate having to pay off Barton. Pretty clear we cannot afford to pay off MW.
