I’ve been a backer of Pedro and how he plays and what but trying to do.

However. not that we were terrible today but I just don’t see how he can turn this around.
He has had long enough to show us he is the man and now his record is worse than Le Guen.
Problem being I don’t know who to replace him with, McInnes, not won a jot, Tommy Wright, not won a jot, Billy Davies, absolute donut.

Where do we go from here?

1.) 23 Sep 2017 16:11:45
I would go for Tommy Wright now and cut our losses with Pedro. NOW.

Do you not think Rangers should change how the Celtic fans are seated. I think that giving them the entire Broomloan stand gives them an advantage as during the game they will be shooting in to there own fans!
If you look at how they seat us during OF games we are away in the corner, maybe we should look to do the same and split them round one of the screens.
Surely with bears fans behind both goals should inspire confidence in our players

2.) 23 Sep 2017 05:48:01
Henderson. I've said this for teaea mate. can never understand why we are so accomodating yet we are shunted in to a corner.

3.) 23 Sep 2017 06:45:43
Lh you calm down before you give yourself a headache!

Frankly jus don’t like seeing green inside Ibrox, would much prefer if you lot were hidden away in the corner!

4.) 23 Sep 2017 09:37:52
Henderson I've to calm down! From the guy who's suggesting moving a whole stand of fans because he thinks it would help his team get a result! 😂😂😂😂😂 aye nae bother pal! A can smell the fear from here! 😜😱

5.) 23 Sep 2017 11:58:06
@lh86 - I believe it's you that has the FEAR! For Ever Always Rangers!

6.) 23 Sep 2017 12:02:53
Hate agreeing with the dhim but i'm afraid he's spot on. its the way its been for years. if we're better than them on the day we won if there better they won. its not the fans that won a football match its the players

Whatever happened of the good old days of supporting Rangers at all costs.
Fed up hearing about the manager, his signings, how he should play blah blah blah.
Not a word was spoken when Walter, Eck or Le Guen signed PROVEN international players that were rubbish for us! Letizi, Cribari, Webster, Prodan, Ostenstad, Sebo to name a few!
But because we haven't heard of some of the new signings some folk label them!
I would support a 3 legged donkey if he was picked to play for Rangers, ordinary guys like me can only dream of pulling on the jersey!
I feel some folk have forgotten that feeling and only want to moan!

87henderson

1.) 10 Sep 2017 13:10:01
I agree with supporting the team 87henderson but to say we didny moan when Eck, Walter, PLG brought in duds is nonsense as i can remember Rangers players and managers of all calibres/ nationality getting pelters over the urs. God i can remember even fans wanting rid of Walter were i sit during both his stints. absolute bonkers!

2.) 10 Sep 2017 13:15:35
It's the nature of a fan to be critical when criticism is due and you want the best for your team. To support a 3 legged donkey in a blue shirt means you support letting the other 10 players down and blindly accepting the manager's decision to play it in the first place. Most posts do give credit where it's due.

3.) 10 Sep 2017 14:26:43
Forgetting back in those days sites like this probably didn't exist

4.) 10 Sep 2017 14:27:15
87henderson, the vast majority of people I know support the manager, team and board but that doesn't mean they should be above criticism.

Pedro has said some crazy things and I understand why some of the players he has signed being questioned. Fans have a right to voice their opinions. After Europe and first 2 home games fans had some serious concerns. Fair play to Pedro and the team as they look better with every game.

However, everyone was given a great reception yesterday.

5.) 10 Sep 2017 17:49:19
Ger88 u make a good point about back then sites like this weren't really on the go so probably wasn't aware of the critics at the time!
I absolutely agree with everyone having the right to an opinion but it jus seems no matter what some folk only want to be negative! Frankly it bores me. I know sometimes we have been well beaten and as tough as it is, the answer isn't to sack the manager like some people shout

6.) 11 Sep 2017 13:12:16
i would love all rangers fans to be positive but know that's not going to happen i remember couple of old guys shouting for albertz to be sacked! i don't understand some of my fellow fans i really don't especially when it comes to pedro.
first of all he would cost a lot to get rid of!
secondly we would need money for a new manager!
money for a new team!
then the fans that say the want to get rid of peedro say that they are the ones being realitic!
lmfao are u seriously going to tell me that all those things u want to happen are realistic!
naw guys u are negative nelly's and that's all u are

Maybe I don't have a right of opinion here as I wasn't at the game. I hav however just watched extended highlights of the game from Saturday. Maybe someone who was at the game can answer me .

1. Were we really that bad?! By the looks of it we had more than enough chances. Couple decent save from Hearts keeper, couple off the line and some wasteful finishing

2. Dorrans looked to be playing awful deep, with Windass in the hole?

3. I've heard folk slating PC signings, the boy Morelos up top look excellent. Good link up play, quick feet, burst of pace and can obviously finish (excluding Sat)

4. Was Saturday just one of those days?! Could PC have done more?

The way I see it we have actually played some quick aggressive football from the start of the season. These are good things that come from the manager!

Not taking chances and the other goalie having a good game isn't PC fault yet all I seem to hear is "get him out the door"

87henderson

1.) 21 Aug 2017 16:41:26
We played 4-4-2 Windass was out on the left.
We weren't terrible but we weren't good either.
We did lack punch up front. Morelos did okay but as Miller always comes deep and Candeias and Windass weren't firing on all cylinders we had very little to offer. Actually looked more 4-5-1 half the time with Miller so deep.

2.) 21 Aug 2017 16:43:20
We were by far and away the better team, Hearts weren't interested in attacking, apart from a 40 yard rocket that hit the bar we were never in trouble.

Aside from scoring it was a controlled performance and we created 2 good opportunities that we should have taken. If one of them goes in it's a totally different game. A worry for me is the ability to break teams down in that kind of game, the longer it goes the more we run out of ideas. Dorrans was deeper as a result of them flooding the edge of their box, IMO, Pedro has to find ways of utilising Dorrans in that scenario and in turn he has to do more to influence the game from an attacking perspective. That will hopefully come in time.

It was the changes that worried me, I personally think Miller had to come off. He gives everything but he's no use in deeper positions. Morelos looks very good but he's going to need service and someone playing close to him, thought Hardie showed some promise but it's difficult for a young kid to come into that game.

I;m not calling for the managers head however he needs a very strong set of results in the next 4 games, particularly the next 3 league games before we play Celtic.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 17:16:52
Both of you make a great point about Miller. I sometimes feel he want to get involved unnecessarily. If Miller stuck to what he is good at like working the channels and hassling the defense it would probs open more space for Morelos.

I agree the next 6 games or so have become big game! We need to go to Old Firm game in form and with belief in how we play. I like PC, he's smart, articulate and presents himself well. I have no doubt that he is the right man (from what I've seen) but most teams will defend against us and Blue Blue Sea you are right, He needs to find a way to utilise his better players, ultimately that's what will win us games and keep him in the job

4.) 21 Aug 2017 17:56:41
Unfortunately "working the channels" is something Miller WAS good at. Not sure he has the legs for that now.
We would really benefit from someone up top with the legs for that like Miller used to.
Also think a left footed left winger would stretch the opposition more. Hopefully Walker does come.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 18:47:33
We have that player his name is Joe Dodoo.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 21:02:26
I thought we were poor and never really troubled a very poor Hearts side. Windass didn't even have a good 30 mins before disappearing, Miller shouldn't be starting and Dorrans was anonymous. Very uninspiring and devoid of ideas

just seen the incident with Ryan Jack red card.
Its easy to blame referees sometimes and while the often get criticised wrongly sometimes, it's game like Saturday that infuriate the hard working folk that pay good money to see a fair contest!
First, Stokes on Tav in first half was worse that Jack red card incident. Stokes actually had him in a head lock, The tackle on Dorrans from behind was also not pretty and while Jack shouldn't have rushed in, all he did was barge the guy out the way. Then for Stokes to throttle Ryan Jack and not get booked again is a mystery! If Jack got sent off for "a head butt" then stokes has to be guilty to as started it all.
Shocking refereeing, not one out of 4 seen this. All I want is consistency!

The investigation centres around Dunfermlines finances from that time . It has nothing to do with Rangers

Nonsense?! Coldo I don’t usually bite but every time I read your comments I think “this guys a nugget”

why are u happy to let allow Celtic fans to fill out entire Broomloan stand and bring in Drums etc? As a Rangers fan doesn’t it bother you our biggest rivals come to our home and swan about?

Get them I’m the corner with minimum ticket allocation, out of view of TV cameras and ell the Broomie to season ticket holders.

Give the guy a chance! Bloody hell, the guy isn’t going out his way to play bad. (Which I agree he is btw)

Jus hate all the usual negativity because he hasn’t started his career on fire. Think about everything he has to change. Diet, Culture, Leaving his family behind, style of play, weather, plastic pitches

Coldo, so because he cost 3million means he had to hit the ground running! All I’m saying is give the guy a chance!

Would love to see you start a new job in Mexico and for right in!
