Fellow Bears don't shoot the messenger

Just posting what I've been told from a family member who got a post tonight they got from someone who is close to bomber from a first team squad member when talking to John Brown. We all thank SG for changing the club structure, winning 55 and recovering our Rep in Europe. " We weren't overly surprised as he was a bit distant this season, we are neither surprised or overly disappointed to see him go to be blunt, tactics and team meetings have lost their zip, we kind of expected change, we are however expecting/ wanting change a new team in place asap we will not accept any interim or low level manager and Tav and senior players will be taking to the chairman and Stuart today (11/ 11) Peter Millwall Gers

GVB is coming in, Van Gastel and Arjo Philips his assistants, with Van Gastel joining once his contract in China has been terminated.

I for one hope this is all true but time will tell. Onwards to 56.

Just seen in BBC that Dave King has stood down at Glasgow Rangers.

1966

1.) 27 Mar 2020 22:16:32
Its in the daily record too, Should we be panicking? As he said we could be struggling for money due to the break.

2.) 28 Mar 2020 06:42:17
Yeah and. We knew that in December.

3.) 28 Mar 2020 07:46:00
He announced he was standing down at the last AGM.

4.) 28 Mar 2020 08:33:41
Think he said he would stand down in March, it's now march.

He also said he would stay on till the Ashley thing was settled (not as the chairman tho) .

5.) 29 Mar 2020 10:54:44
King will always be there when we need him. He was offered decent money for his shares and his reply was a big not for sale. He stood down as he is stuck in south Africa and in mr park we have a very able replacement temporarily. They won't risk getting this wrong again. I would like to see maybe Martin Baines come back. S.

6.) 29 Mar 2020 18:30:50
Bain.

7.) 31 Mar 2020 15:08:38
Who offered King money for his shares? he would have bitten their hand off if they did. He is the big concern for Rangers at the present time, he has and still will be able to dictate what happens. ……. beware what you read, our messiah maybe our downfall, just like Murray.

See daily rebel are reporting Coulibaly is major doubt for Ufa and Sunday's game

Mixing it again how the F do they know.

1966

1.) 29 Aug 2018 03:49:05
Gerrard said: “Lassana is doubtful, very doubtful. The injury has come with more complications than we originally thought.

“The physio and doctor are doing everything they can to get him back as quickly and safely but he is a big doubt for Ufa. "

2.) 29 Aug 2018 06:18:26
Maybe some mind games but I don’t think Stevie G is that type, he is a massive loss if he doesn’t make either game. He is the difference maker in the middle of the park for me. Ryan Jack hasn’t looked anywhere near as good without Coulibaly along side him!

3.) 29 Aug 2018 06:25:03
Let's not concern ourselves with the Daily Record. We should be more concerned with what a loss Coulibaly has been and will be especially at the piggery cause he was the one to match Broon. Hopefully nothing serious but it's concerning that since he's been missing we've not looked as strong.

4.) 29 Aug 2018 08:01:08
i still think coulibaly will be fit for sunday i have in the other midfielders available to get the job done on thursday but we need coulibaly for sunday without a doubt.

5.) 29 Aug 2018 09:32:11
Coulibaly is the man to boss the midfield against Celtic, hope he is fit.

Anyone know what's happening to Boyd coming back, all gone quite again

20 Jun 2014 23:49:05
Ed have you heard anything concrete about Boyd coming back

{Ed039's Note - The interest is defo there but I believe it would depend on some players moving on before a deal can be offered)

Hi bears, don't mean to be controversial here but Beale should have been shown the door after we lost our last home game. I would personally sound out Derek McIness or Stevie Clark but doubt he would come to us given the abuse he got from a minority of so-called fans when Killie manager.

Thoughts bears!

1966

1.) 01 Oct 2023 16:03:19
Clarke won’t come and delboy is a no.

2.) 01 Oct 2023 16:18:40
Agree Storm.

3.) 01 Oct 2023 16:53:09
Agree storm.

4.) 01 Oct 2023 17:01:32
Clarke doesn’t like us as a club. McInnes would no doubt prefer his job at Kilmarnock and to keep that project going as opposed to joining us and being unemployed next summer.

I truly believe McInnes stayed away from us the last time because we were a basket case club setting managers up for a fall. In hindsight, I’d say he was right to stay away because it would I’ve been him getting ragdolled by Celtic instead of Murty.

If Beale is sacked now and McInnes was approached it would be a similar situation to the one after Pedro was sacked. Nobody is going to come in 7 points behind with the expectation they must win the league or be sacked - It’s unreasonable. We would put an interim manager place until the summer and write the rest of the season off. We can’t perform a rebuild until next summer anyway, and we would have a much better chance of a quality manager during the summer months when there is a clean slate. However, even then, we get off to a bad start and the calls for a sacking would begin.

We now have a revolving door and sacking culture going on. At some point the board will need to explain to the fans that we are not an EPL team that can afford to keep doing this.

Hi fellow bears

Not Rangers related but what are your views on SG being sacked by AV.

1966

1.) 21 Oct 2022 11:44:43
I was hoping that he would do well with them but not too be. I am sure his bumper payoff will ease the pain a little and 10 million should tide him over until he finds a new job.

2.) 21 Oct 2022 11:46:43
Was only a matter of time. Huge huge name in the world of football, but not up to much as a manager. Would never have won the league here without Beale. I’m not bitter but part of me thinks he got what he deserved. Had th chance to build something really special here and walked away mid season for the “riches” in England. He’s spent big money compared to what he had here and has Villa ina relegation scrap. I’ll Always love him for what he done here that season but the grass isn’t always greener as he now knows and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him step away from management for a while and get back into punditry.

3.) 21 Oct 2022 11:52:31
Would have liked him to be a success to avoid the usual comments of managing up here being easy compared to down south.

His time there seems to have amplified his short comings we saw up here eg can't adapt play style, slow to make subs. Said on the SPFL page he strikes me as a cheque book manager. Even last week there were stories about him wanting to buy his way out of trouble. Won't get that luxury at every club.

4.) 21 Oct 2022 11:54:06
Well out his depth, spent a lot of money, struggled, even more so when beale left. Sacked.

5.) 21 Oct 2022 11:54:08
Predictable.

6.) 21 Oct 2022 12:12:08
I was sorry to hear SG has been sacked. I wish him all the best in future the man is part of our history and I would like to think he’s remembered for 55.

7.) 21 Oct 2022 12:20:05
Aston Villa is one of the worst jobs in English football as they think they are bigger then they actually are. SG was still making rookie mistakes 3 years into the Rangers job and was still nowhere near EPL management level. I thought he would last 6 months at Villa so a bit longer than I 1st thought.

8.) 21 Oct 2022 15:29:00
Something else you got wrong then, Sweep???.

23 Apr 2022 17:14:10
Hi bears hopefully a good omen if you believe in that but we won away from home today and RB Leipzig lost at home.

1966

1.) 23 Apr 2022 17:59:53

2.) 23 Apr 2022 18:12:43

4.) 23 Apr 2022 20:53:15
Hope it pulls for you snell do you just Google Andy’s bet club?

5.) 23 Apr 2022 21:40:53

Hi Ed,

Can you put up a vote for us bears.

Would we prefer to win 55 at Ibrox or Parkhead.

Cheers Ed.

{Ed033's Note -

Rangers 55 poll

1.) 27 Feb 2021 11:08:28
I'd prefer to win it before at ibrox. don't celebrate tho. walk out at parkhead champions. pump them on the day then celebrations start on the pitch. run there moses right in it.

2.) 27 Feb 2021 12:01:52

Evening fellow bears, checked the forum pages for today just to make sure I'm not quoting the same as another bear.

But thought I would share the obvious that Lennon resigned today the
55th day of the year.

Here’s a copy of my previous post. Would welcome your comments mate.

Evening bears just posting some stats before the fans from the east end start saying Refs are out to help us. Since we returned to the Premiership not including this season 2020/ 21 ( source SPFL website) we've been awarded 25 penalties and so have they. We've had 9 penalties awarded against us and they've had 6. We've had 240 yellow cards and they've had 176. We've had 19 reds cards to their 8. They've had 9 wins to our 3. Goals for us 12 and 28 against. Am I missing something. There goes this myth and fake news the Refs help us. As some of you say they never lose only get cheated. 55 is in bound.

Deano1872.

Check out my post about 2 weeks ago about them and us getting penalties for and against, red and yellow cards etc over the last 8 3/ 4 years not including the current season. No argument I’m afraid usual cheated not defeated.
