Selling Colak was a mistake.
Selling Sakala was a mistake.
Loaning out Hagi was a mistake.
Loaning out Lowry was a mistake.
Not replacing Kent was a mistake.
Signing Sterling was a mistake.
Signing Sima on loan was a mistake.
Signing Lammers was a mistake.
Signing Dessers was a mistake.

On a positive note.
Signing Butland was good.
Signing Dowell was good.
Signing Cifuentes was good.

I've probably forgotten someone but overall this is a horrific situation.

The outgoings weren’t a mistake just because the new players haven’t hit the ground running doesn’t mean the old players were good enough.

Also how can you deem dowell a good signing when he’s hardly kicked a ball? The only players who’ve been given enough minutes to judge them on is Dessers and Butland. Butland is the only one you can deem good so far and Dessers is the only one you can deem bad in my opinion.

We have signed a lot players, good or bad only time will tell, we have to get behind them give them our fantastic support . What we do need is a good DOF to have an input into team affairs, another pair of eyes . It’s the only way forward.

Not sure how Sterling was a mistake. Surely we still need a back up for RB and seems to be a decent player but just does not get a chance at his correct position.

Selling Sakala was not a mistake either. The guy was not a good player, he just got a lot more playing time than others that are better than him. Most people were slating him the whole time he was here and now he's gone everyone is acting like the was the best player and so valuable lol

Lowry, I would have liked him to be in the first time to be honest. The boy has the talent and ability to play at the top of this league.

Lammers. not sure he has had a good enough run of playing time either, especially since he is always played out of position.

And Kent flattered to deceive and couldn't break down the SPL teams towards the end but yes that position i'd need a replacement and that has not happened.

All your opinions mate. I don't think we can judge players as a failure after 5 games. Colak, Hagi and Lowry were all bit part players so i don't see the issue in them leaving. Sakala is debatable.

I remember john saying lowery will end up in championship as that's his level. I hoped that wouldn't be the case but I've been watching the jambos games just to watch him and nothing he is showing me would prove john wrong or him ever being the required standard for our club. I hope i'm wrong but i don't see it.

I firmly believe that Dowell and Cifu are both good players and are good signings. They do need to be played more and not out of position either.

Sterling, Sima and Lammers have all been given game time and all looked poor which is in line with their performances last season for their respective clubs IMO. A good season years ago or a handful of half decent performances doesn't make these people good in any way whatsoever.

Cifuentes looks to be a very good player to me. He has everything that is needed to be a success at Rangers. I firmly believe he and Raskin will end up at the heart of our new look midfield.

Rasking holding with Cifuentes operating as a box-to-Xbox next to him sounds promising. Someone like Cantwell in front of them behind a couple of strikers. But most of these formations and player combinations haven’t even been tried yet.

You are right to a degree, selling these guys without bringing in decent replacements is the mistake. We did need change and we did need to improve on these guys but we haven`t . Will Dessers realy get more goals than Colak, not on current evidence . Is Sima better than Sakala not on what we have seen so far and is Lammers more creative or quicker than Hagi, it doesn`t look like it. You`re also right that we haven`t made any attempt to replace Kents role in the team, the ball carrier through midfield and up the left and if we think its going to be Matondo we are in trouble. I am prepared to give Sterling and Dowell some time as they cost nothing and haven`t played much . Cifuentes is struggling but a times there looks as if he might be okay once he settles.

I'll say it again kilted sterling has played his part in 3 or 4 games probably had around 2 full games in minutes and for half of those mins he played out of position yet your telling us he is poor? Your talents are wasted on here bro you should stick your c v in to man city with those abilities.

wslgers, maybe I'm being too harsh on Sterling and I'm tarring him with the same brush as I'm tarring Dessers, etc with. I should give him more time. Thanks for reading between the lines and understanding what I was trying to say with my post.
