Dead rubber or not when we beat them 3-0 very easily in the last old firm game at ibrox last season, why did beale not instruct the same tactics of that day, as they were very much there for the taking yesterday ?In that 3-0 game cantwell went up against callum mcgregor and gave him absolutely no breathing space to dictate for them and it stopped celtic from functioning as everything goes through him because if you stop mcgregor dictating the play for them, you stop them in general ?So beale has to be accountable for why we didn't squeeze mcgregor and play with high tempo and intensity ?We're still waiting for this very high tempo, attack minded football he promised us ?He needs to rather quickly get his best 11 sorted out and play to a system because ATM we don't have a system ?.

Is it possible mb tried to surprise Celtic in a way, like he thought that they thought we would play like u say, so tried to not be predictable and it backfired.
I do agree though we’re awfully slow now, no urgency even switching play from side to side takes longer than it has to.

How much do you reckon we miss Steven Davis Sir Walter? He was key to the way we played and I reckon no one in the current squad even comes close to him.

You have to factor in it was a dead rubber as Celtic had already won the league with games to spare and were looking forward to winning another treble.
And both teams were different and Celtic had a different manager / system in both games.

4 of that side never started on Sunday.
And yet we only started with 3 new players? We were told new signings would improve the starting 11?
Beale on Sunday was far too passive.
Celtic had a makeshift defence and we still couldn't score!
Handbrake off? We are stuck in reverse. Sunday was criminal from Beale.

Every fan pundit neutral you speak to or hear from the first thing they say is we don't have a system or any for of football philosophy. That surely is unacceptable given how long Beale has now had.

Absolutely right in saying cantwell never got close to mcgregor. The dead rubber you note gave Beale, the board and certain players false confidence.

Cantwell was clueless yesterday and that because he didn’t appear to know where he was playing. I don’t think it helps being beside a past it Jack and Raskin who is busy but completely ineffective. Raskin Covers more yards per touches than any player I can remember watching. And those touches are invariably backwards. If we had been content with that we could have kept kamara.

It’s astonishing that mcgregor was given the freedom of the middle of the park and it wouldn’t have happened under a good manager. Beale isn’t that.

I’ve said from the word go that he’s hard to take in interviews and appears to spout hot air with no substance. Unfortunately that’s exactly What we are being subjected to on the park. He has no style of play and no big results under his belt to suggest that he is anything other than an impostor in the job.

Woeful performances and abysmal tenure to date.

It’s basic management, biggest threat at set pieces against PSV Luk de jong so let Lammers mark him, main playmaker for Celtic McGregor give him acres.
It’s just basic stuff, nothing to do with hindsight everyone knew these facts before a ball gets kicked but still we fail.

Jack is good at covering for Tavernier at RB. Cantwell is better on the left coming on to his stronger right foot. However, both started on the opposite sides of the pitch. This was a mistake and Beale corrected it at some point during the second half.

Rangers sat back a bit and tried to lure Celtic out. It worked to an extent as you seen with Dessers nipping the ball and putting Roofe through to score. That should be 1-0 and the tactics are working perfectly. The referee changed the game at the point with a very poor decision.

people went on and on about Beale's system, Colak can't play it, Sakala can't play it etc etc etc. people prioritised link up play over goal scoring. its all we heard, aye but can he link up? . with the exception of Butland, every other signing has been rank rotten. we have spent 10mil roughly on three strikers and let go sakala and colak who scored 30 ish goals between them last season. why does dessers get a game for us? cantwell is a 10, how many more times will beale play players out of position. how many goals did cantwell score from the number 10 last season yet beale has him playing nearly wide right in a mid three? pace up top in a front two with cantwell as a false 9 / 10 role destroyed celtic last season, the blue print was there.

Sima, Lammers, dessers, cifu bring absolutely nothing to the team, they haven't improved us infact we let better players go. Danilo, can't believe he's on the bench instead of dessers. Danilo deserves a chance.

our tactis are poor, you can't see what we are trying to do. what is beales system? beale56 you were quite vocal about players not being able to play beales system, maybe you can tell us what beales system is? Beale must go before its too late.
