Afternoon everyone.

Does anyone know what this system is that Beale keeps mentioning, has he talked about it in any detail?

I'm intrigued to know what we are to expect going forward because from what I've seen so far there is no evidence of any system what so ever.

Midfield diamond and two split strikers. Full backs are wingers.

its the system where we prioritise link up play and possession over scoring goals.

I’d like to see something that can convert to a back five when needed so we can have Sterling at right back and a left centre half, need to try and get clean sheets and you would like to think through a wee bit of time we will have enough up top to score.
Left back area and wide are areas that I would like to see us bring in a couple as well if we can move a few on.

I’m unsure if Beale is experienced enough to budge from what he’s doing? Some of his selections in regard to team and changes are bizarre. Someone posted earlier that it’s not arrogance but inexperience. I think that was a spot on assessment. I hope it’s not arrogance anyway or we’re in real trouble. Hopefully yesterday was a boot up the rear end for everyone.

He now plays the most narrow formation in World football where apparently it’s ok as we had the most possession yesterday?.

He doesn't come across as the arrogant sort but I agree there's definitely inexperience showing through, there's evidence of it since he arrived, and that inexperience is a worry. I know he has been backed by the board which is brilliant and some of the signings are genuinely exciting (Cantwell, Raskin, Dowell, Cifuentes and Danillo) but if he can't adapt as good managers do it will be his downfall. He talks about his system, he's got a system, well in my opinion he should have several systems that can be used.
