Any word on any new defenders coming in? Surely beale seems its the worst part in our team and we will get shot in the foot if we don't fix it. anyone?

Hopefully when Goldson returns the defence will be stronger but we all know we need another LCB and LB.

I agree left and right back got out played most of the game, if we continue with them we would need to go to four four two to give them cover but you know that’s not Beales way so we are gambling on scoring more goals than we let in. In the past we had a strong defence first which we built the team around, I hope we can invest in defence if any money becomes available from departures.

I'm afraid I'm old school, I prefer defenders who can defend. Nearly all the goals we concede are the same, long ball past the full back, quick centre and tap in, why can't our management team see what we see. It definitely needs sorting !

Sterling was bought to be our right back, he’s strong and athletic, just coming back from injury and so is Goldson, we do need another strong centre half this was evident last year.
We will be stronger at the back soon hopefully, Cifuentes to come in as well and he will add strength to the midfield,
Not convinced defensively with our left backs said this before pre season.
Could yfeko fill in there? I’d personally play the boy Devine but I can’t see that happening.
I’m sure we are actively trying to get a centre half in and would expect Davies to move on before the window closes.

Of course he can see it, I don't think there was one person on here that wasn't calling for change, we'll we've got it in buckets full.
The front line neede sorted, we've got a completely new front line and we've played 4 games. Most people were calling for ridvan to replace barasic, that's what we've had and he is not the answer. There is more work to be done and its ongoing. Did anyone really expect us to be battle ready at this stage with so many changes. It's not fantasy football or Roy of the rovers.
We had 3 centre half's missing today four if you count king.
With the season just about upon us I understand the nervousness around the support but let's get behind the team.

Yilmaz was poor today for both goals, maybe the first one he was light with the block because it’s a pre season friendly. Second goal the boy cannot be allowed to get the cross in. overall I thought we looked a bit sharper the real stuff starts next Saturday we must be switched on from the first whistle.
