Balogun is baffling to me, signing an injury prone player to replace an injured player? He's not exactly going to be very reliable of we need him a few gamss in a row, daft signing.

Look at what happened last season at the start. Do you want to go into the season with Souttar and Davies as our only centre backs that are fit? Balogun is coming in to take King’s role in the squad so he’ll hardly play. We will still bring in another centre back to push for a starting 11 place. Balogun’s wages will be low, we know his ability and he’s costing us 0. It’s a good stand in while King recovers.

He isn't reliable though, he cost us nothing because of this, no point in signing a injury prone player to cover for someone who's injured, if he stays fit it's a win win but he won't and his stats don't lie.

If, as you say, Goldson and Souttar aren`t fit then Balogun will play, if he`s fit, as we so far haven`t signed another centre back. Its ridiculous that we risk sabotaging the start of the season by not getting in proper cover in a position we were exposed last season. If money is tight we should forget about Danilo and even Cifuentes and spend the money in defence . We have lots of forwards and midfielders so these deals can wait, in fact Cifuentes could be signed on a pre contract and that money redirected.

Signing a player for 1/ 4 games when we have very little experience and very few leaders. and very little money to spend. Yeah, baffling.

We should be signing starters Tjrfc not someone who can play 1 in 4 games, if he was to replace king then whoever was 4th choice should be pushed down and we should've went for either Panzo or Trusty.
