Kent? Where do you start?! I'm not wanting to make excuses for him as he's long past that, but he was quite obviously not fit to start today. Same with Raskin! MB playing 2 players who are not 100% out of desperation is criminal.

Again, I see some saying best team lost. Or we weren't that bad because we never got pumped. With respect, that's just a steaming pile of horse s*#t! A defeat is just a defeat to them regardless of how it came about!

That's MB's 4th game against them, and still no victory! Sorry, but a Rangers manager who can't lay a glove on them won't be a Rangers manager for long. Obviously some won't like hearing that, but those are the facts. If we don't beat them at Ibrox, and then we lose to them in the 1st game against them next season, he'll be gone!

Felt sorry for Tav also as he played well and ran his heart out. MB's signings also played well so have some faith in the man- let him get his summer signings and dee what happens.

No he won’t get sacked if we lose the next 2 get that out your head right now. He came into these games off the back of Gio getting absolutely battered on more than 1 occasion. How can you blame Beale for 4 players stopping or Sakala missing an open goal? Game at park head we gift them another 2 goals and have a goal wrongly disallowed. I get what you mean when you say a defeat is a defeat but we need to get a sense of reality as to where we are and where we were. They have a better squad of players than us do you agree? Beale has set us up in the last 2 game’s tactically very well and we’ve been the better team in both barring our failures in both boxes. He needs a chance to bring in his own players and see what they can do before any chat of him being sacked.

I am inclined to agree. For too long now we have been waiting on Kent doing something. and he doesn't. Morelos looked better after Arfield came on. Tillman, who has obvious qualities, yet again anonymous in a big game. In general play we are as good as them but lack that sharpness and real desire to win. I am a fan of Sakala and would rather see someone shoot and miss rather than hide and pass on responsibility. He has his limitations but is one I would keep. Lunndstrom had one of his better games and Yilmaz proved that he is no better than Barasic. But he is younger! Matondo showed some enthusiasm (no football) but yet again our biggest threats were Arfield and our right back who was one of 6 who switched off for their goal. We do not need a major overhaul in players but in attitude we do. Again, we wait till we are losing before we start to play. These next games MUST be about next year's team.

Lanzarote tav did play well but ultimately him sleeping at the back post played a major part in the goal that won them the game.

I agree he must bring his own players in, but we're at the exact same crossroads as we were at with Gio last season. The ones shouting for MB to be judged only when he has his own team, we're shouting the exact same thing for Gio last season. How did that work out?! At least he beat the tims!

It might just be me, but I think MB knows he's out of his depth here. After his interview, I think the self doubt has got him!

Sakala has missed 2 open goals from 6 yards out in a cup final and a cup semi final with a gimme waiting in the final. These are the moments that win and lose trophies and he is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen. Had a shot from the edge of the box that went out for a throw in, had a cross that went about 20 yards behind the goal and missed an open goal from 6 yards out. He wasn’t even close to scoring either of the open goals and if we have someone who’s not absolutely rank rotten in that position then we give ourselves a much better chance at winning 2 trophies. Impossible to say what the outcome would be if he scores them but both were in massive moments in the game. He needs to go he’s one of the first I’d be getting rid of. If anyone is daft enough to offer any kind of fee for Sakala then I’ll be his personal chauffeur.

Trust me, If MB goes 6 straight games without a victory against them, then he'll be gone. You might be prepared to turn a blind eye, but the majority won't. The Rangers fans who remember success, or those who want it back, are not prepared to take this crap anymore!
MB must beat them at Ibrox and put down a marker in the 1st game against them next season. If he fails to, then he will be gone!

In what way did Beale set us up well tactically today?

We only started to cause them any kind of trouble when we brought on Arfield and Sakala.

I'm not looking to chase the Guy out the door, but I struggle to see why so many leap to his defence when there's any criticism.

For me, an experienced manager would have found a way to beat them today, as they were poor.

Beale may have a bright future as a manager, but he needs to learn fast and stop making the same mistakes in big games.

davidb1996, I like you as a poster, and you come across as someone with real passion, who hates losing to them, but MB didn't set us up tactically very well! MB must shoulder a lot of the blame over these games regardless of how many stupid mistakes they were.

He won’t be gone if we lose the next 2. So you suggest we bring a manager in to oversee a massive overhaul and then sack him in September if he loses 1 game? Seems like a great idea that what if the next manager wants to totally change the players again do we just have yet another rebuild? If we’re in this position come the end of next season then yes he will have been long gone but there’s no way he gets the bullet that quickly into a new season.

He set us up tactically well today because Celtic offered absolutely nothing and we totally nullified them for the majority of the game. What else do you want him to do? With better players we win that game you can’t blame the manager for individual errors.

There’s nothing I hate more than losing to them I just don’t think Beale got today wrong. Could argue Kent shouldn’t have started and I wouldn’t go against that but overall we were better in the game and individual errors cost us. I understand everyone’s point that if he doesn’t get a win in 6 then obviously that’s a terrible start and I’m not doubting that but I don’t think he should be sacked for it. He’s got to at least get until Christmas unless it goes massively wrong.

Tav played well today yes but for their goal barisic, tav and our 2 centre halfs stopped and didn't play to the whistle, which of course you should never do ?.

I agree with you David. Don't think there was anything wrong with the managers tactics.

We got after them from the start and matched thier energy which has beaten us a few times before.

We also kept McGregor really quiet and it made it hard for them to have any control in the game.

I would blame him for Kent and Morelos but the truth is we lack options in thier positions.

I do however blame those two supposedly key players as the have only been key in our decline the last couple of years. MB will lose my support if they ever play for us again.

Tavernier was sleeping at the goal and that sort of goal is one that's happened plenty of times in the past. Goldson and Tavernier allowing someone to sneak in and score. I don't feel sorry for any Rangers player at present as they are a part of the same failure.
