The BIG question is. What went wrong from the 4th best team in Europe last year to what we have witnessed most of the season apart from a couple of games and players refusing to sign contracts throw in Injuries and unfit looking players plus new signings that can't get a game or sit on the bench . Questions MUST NOW be asked . * points behind our Rivals (goal difference is a point imo) . and to rely on them losing 3 games is a big ask. I'll say it again . give GVB until there is no way back after the world cup and transfer window. Obviously now the old firm game is a MUST win Jan 2nd -It's not a desperate situation with 3 domestic trophies still to play for but It's fairly close. Personally I don't see a new management team as the answer . Just GVB to show some balls and drop the misfits and play players who want to bleed for the club. kent, Kamara and Morelos just do not come into that category I'm afraid. maybe Beal and Gerard as his assistant would be the way forward don't laugh. but I will. ???.

gio has allowed players to cruise

and let kent and morelos to wait for a new club with the guarantee if rangers paying them a fortune to stay

When we're we the 4th best team in Europe mate? We beat some good teams but getting to europa final didn't make us anywhere close to 4th best in Europe. Champions league a huge step up as we have found out this season.

Dee Cee sorry I don’t see a way back in the league now,
It’s always if we win this game it will be 4 points behind or win the next old firm game. He ain’t going to change now as far is how he sets up and motivates the team.
We were poor in the league since Gio came in last year, we let slip a healthy lead. Yes our form in Europe was good and that suited the way we play with teams coming at us a bit more.
We didn’t kick on in the summer haven’t replaced Bassey or Aribo with better players, in the main chose to sign a younger type player that so far are not good enough. Failed to get in players where we needed like on the right, attacking midfielder, right back and goalkeeper.
Our performances in the league have not improved and I think we are weaker than last year.
A team not playing well going into champions league games well we have all saw what has happened there.
And those doings in the champions league have shattered confidence even more and Gio not the character to lift them, Not had the quality and depth in squad to cover injuries as well.
Probably the signing structure and model we are going down needs to be looked at.

herewego55 . Officially and on paper being runners up in the Europa gave us the title of 4th best team in Europe. of-course we were nowhere near that but as I stated . On paper . yes. we were. My point is its a long way down to where we are right now. The only ones smirking are the overpaid players and the Board who got all their loans back with Interest . Throw in kemar Roofe with all that . lying on a treatment table and getting paid massive money to do so.

On paper, no. That's a lie. Because you get to the final of the 2nd best European competition and lose doesn't make you 4th best in Europe, even on paper. Does that make the finalists of the conference 5th and 6th best teams lol. Every team in the champions league is better than the best team in the europa as its the better, harder to get into competition.
