Probably get shot down for this. But Goldson is the weak link in our defence. He let's opposition get in front of him at the near post, doesn't put his boot in to cut out a cross, then seems to blame everyone around him. He's had one good season and imo shouldn't have been a new contract.

The entire defence is the weak link in the defence. I've now seen Goldson turn his back on a shot on goal twice.

But on the upside elsewhere I did see Matondo go past a full back the other week, how did his value drop £10m?

Parlane I said same thing last year about goldson and tav only having 1 good season for us and it was when we won the league.

I've had this opinion for a long time now, managers obv see something in him but he seems to be more of a hindrance than a help.

i agree with you 100% parl, but, he's fit and we gave him a massive new deal, imo we should have sold him, alf and especially kent but. nobody wanted them,

we have these 3 now all season, and sadly we will have to wait and see if they are up to the fight ahead. alf plays to the crowd when he's in the mood, and always acts up when he isnt, kents a waste of time and the big fella seems to blame everyone slse

maybe our new players will be back soon, and actually getting on the park.

My concern with Goldson is he was playing in the shop window. Now has a 4 year contract regardless. But i'm just back from the darkside so i'm going to say a bad spell and i'm hoping the big man can get back to his best.

Totally agree with you mate he's only here because no one else put a bid in and when was the last time you seen a cb not even having a suspension.

Agree ref Goldson, one good season when we won 55. He is a decent passer of the ball but defensively he is a bombscare.
Laudrup, that's actually a good point, at least if he was getting a suspension or two you could see he was making challenges, he doesn't as is weak as f**k.
