Ryan Jack may be tempted to play in the Worldie if we qualify. wouldn't you. Once in a lifetime specially at his age.

Personally I am only interested in him staying fit for Rangers, for that reason I would prefer him not to play in the World Cup but I have no interest in the Scottish National Football Team.

If its ok for Morelos to go sit in the Colombian stand every couple of months or for the Nigerian players to jump on a boat to go represent their country then I've no problem in Ryan Jack representing Scotland.

If picked for Scotland good luck to Ryan, but feel the qualifiers coming up Steve Clark will stick with present players, also do not think we will win these anyway, that's the down side of Ramsey signing as we will have him playing well by then which can only be good for wales.

Every Scot should be proud to play for his country. I'm sure Ryan Jack would and he would make a great Scotland captain. Many Rangers greats over the decades have played for our national team. We should be proud of them and of our country.

agreed Sweep, if Ryan wants to fulfil what must be about every players dream to represent their country then i'm fine with that. i am sure he would be man enough to balance the risks of maybe shortening his playing career but ultimately if picked he should be able to with the backing of all us supporters.

Sweep1 I don’t think people have issues with the team it’s the association that runs it and the fans imo as you will no most of the ‘tartan army’ booed Ian black because he was a rangers player when a player goes to play for there national team whatever they do at club level or play for shouldn’t effect the support showing by the people at these games! I hope Ryan jack makes the Scotland team (and dosnt get booed) I watch Scotland games I want us to do well but wouldn’t attend a game for free.

He’s obv been picked for back up if one of the strikers got injured he woulda been on the bench it’s not good for us esp with the air miles he’s had to clock up but if a player is available and he’s picked for nt and Alfredo clearly wants to be there what can we do? It’s the same as John McLaughlin when he was picked for Scotland am sure he’s the 3rd choice so very slim chance of being involved but the guys want to be there.

If he’s confident about his fitness he’ll make the best decision for his career which will also be in our interests.
