Sorry tilla, its you that needs to get a grip, how many times have players and managers of other teams made gestures to us, at home and away, with no censure what so ever? Do we need a list of gestures that you can give. Is the shoosh gesture OK or the hands at the ears perhaps or no gestures at all? Some are happy to sit back at let them kick us others get annoyed when it happens you've made your position clear that's fair enough but don't get angry at the rest of us who are frustrated to say the least!

Not sure how Morelos actions can be defended. (forget the they did this so we did that - does not make it right and large clubs should not lower their standards because of what others do).

Had he cupped his ear after scoring then he would be showing how he silences critics etc. Cheeky but not provocative. I get the adrenalin flowing and the tension release.
Running to celebrate with your own fans - again, not a problem (they paid good money to follow the club - and help pay his wages - so why not? )

The guy ran to the opposition fans arm fist pumping, which could have caused a worse reaction than it got. That is not acceptable from any player at any club.
Players know the rules and consequences before they step on the field of play (as do managers).

No doubt my name here will get me the "what about Broony" etc. but, like I said, unacceptable behaviour by any player from any team.

It was a second yellow card and he was going to get sent off a mile away. He was niggling all game. Stevie should have pulled him.

Theres no one disagreeing tim but what you are saying is that some gestures are fine and others are not. I can name two players sent off for gestures BOTH Rangers players remember the disgrace that was Halliday seeing red against morton.

Jyf -
I am saying that.
Years back I watched Gazza playing a pretend flute - never bothered me or a lot of my friends (red hot 'Tic fans) one bit. We thought it was hilarious.
The time he gestured to the ref with his dropped cards - again hilarious.

I would have no problem with a player scoring then putting his hand to his ear.
What Morelos did went way beyond any of that and the message was quite clear (he ran towards the opposing fans for goodness sake).

The players are not angels and they get passionate but they have to temper that with common sense.
Needless red card and now his services are lost.

You print up your list then tiny Ill print mine. Have other players had such silly bookings? We are actually in agreement to a degree here.
