Waiting to be shot down but I think it's time we as a club and our fans started to show a bit more class and rise above the nonsense.

Be it Dundee Utd, Celtic, the refs or the SFA, we should ignore them and prove ourselves to be better both on the pitch and in our demeanour.

Every time we bleat or criticise we simply give the other ammunition.

The bigotry from some our our fans is embarrassing and shameful.

Watching Liverpool overcome Barcelona last week showed their class not just in football terms - the Kop are an extra man no matter the result and have been all the way through the dark days.

Can't imagine how we change our moaning, rid ourselves of the bigots but it's way beyond time.

DK I agree. We are starting to take Celtics title as the kings of paranoia. Celtic won the league fair and square. The best team won on the day in all Old Firm games this year. We only have ourselves to blame for not doing better in the league and in a Europe this year.

It was always going to take 5 -10 years to get back after CW. 7 years on we are getting much closer. Keep investing in the team where we can.

DK19 I am no bigot but I did not want us to give Celtic a guard of honour and as for clubs like Dundee Utd they clubs show us no respect. When we get shown a bit of respect I will have no problem returning it.

Ya we will just ignore the blatant hypocrisy and bias from the SFA! Real Madrid and Barcelona don’t give each other guards of honour Hibs twice refused us twice so does that make them bigots! As for LFC fans there’s a minority there as well who in the past have sang offensive songs about the Munich disaster! Every team have their issue with fans. And if we think that there is a problem we should flag it up with the SFA are they will just continue to blatantly walk all over us.

36th 2008 Barcelona gave Real a guard of honour before the kings spanked the catalans 4-1. Anyway I have no problem with the team doing their talking on the pitch however it is incredibly frustrating and difficult to rise above when there does seem to be blatant leniency from certain members of the game's hierarchy towards certain teams and/ or individuals.

I wonder how many football grounds
Do not have an element of trouble
Makers
Would rangers take offence if they
Did not get a guard of honour.

With you on that one mate. Any new Rangers code of conduct should address the need to stay silent on issues that are outwith our direct control.

It is fine fighting your corner when you feel that an injustice has occurred, but I personally do not think it should be by Manager or player comments. We should be magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat.

We should destroy the opposition on the field and show good old fashioned Rangers class off the field.

If we do indeed totally outplay our opponents then the press stoked controversies will become a side show and we can laugh at them secure in the knowledge that we have just won another game.

I personally feel that we are not far away from the days of league domination and respected European force.

We will never have the budget of top sides but we should have the fight and class to be nobody's push over in European competition.
