Guys, what's your views on Jordan Jones? I ask because i'm from Kilmarnock and the opinion from Killie is that he is no great loss. What I've seen of him i tend to agree, his final ball is atrocious, i really don't see what he'll bring to Rangers.

I've not seen much of Jones, but I think the management team must see room to improve him with a bigger coaching staff, anylists and such . From what I see he's quick and brave but final ball (that old chestnut) lacking . The staff have made Ryan Kent more consistent this year than he's ever been and have stated they can improve his goals and assists ratio . Maybe j Jones is back up for Kent next year with an intensive devolepment programme ahead of him so he can be a big player the season after . That's what I like to think anyway. 🙈.

Billy Thompson stays a few door along from me and he has commented to me 2 years ago the JJ is a good player but the final ball is poor at times I am sure SG will know and work on the lads weaknesses
Remember we got him for about a £ tenner
If he is no good we can move him on.

I think it’s fair to say his final ball could improve. He does well when he has space to run into but we normally face teams camped in. In saying that I do some work with the IFA and have watched him train on several occasions and he’s a box of tricks, direct and a powerful runner. He will improve with better players around playing in a team on the front foot. Keep the faith judge him after his first full year at Rangers not on his performances at Killie.
