The issue for me here isn’t that McGregor got a 2 March ban because in my opinion he was lucky to stay on the park in the first place!
I don’t think anyone can argue it was a reckless challenge.

For me it’s the fact there were worse tackles, in 3 games plus a blatant dive that has “insufficient evidence”!
The stadiums have every possible angle covered by HD cameras!

87 henderson. Agree 100%.

Seeker, it’s embarrassing for our football governing body to say there is insufficient evidence!
Say anything else aside that! There are hundreds of cameras in a stadium at any one time! Plus thousands of spectators! Plus replays, super slow mos, 4K Super HD!

SFA EMBARRASSING!

and then we have Candieas being sent off for blowing a kiss and the guy who grabbed him not being punished

and then we have Captain Broon whose last sending off was April 2017 against Ross County but if we had English referees as his boss wants he would be sent off every second game.

Within ten minutes of the McGregor tackle Ferguson goes in wreckless and even the commentators on the game brought it up saying it was retribution for McGregor's tackle on him! Now am I right in saying nothing has been done regarding this tackle or was it only us and the commentators that witnessed this and nothing done yet again? That in a nutshell fellow bears should put all arguments to rest that they are one view towards us and another if it's against our opposition!

True blue why does Captain Broon not get sent off all the time in Europe? In 90 odd European games he has been sent off once.
Explain that.

Cos when he plays in Europe he can’t get near anyone he's playing against, they are to busy ripping the 💩 outa him.

Very funny, but true 87henderson lol.

isleogreen - Do you think Captain Broon is a decent and honest CFC captain? Do you think that Captain Broon is a fair player? Do you think Captain Broon is a football player or like your old Captain McStay just another square baller? Do you think that Captain Broon's tackles deserve red cards? Do you think Captain Broon holds back his tackles in Europe and let's rip in Scotland knowing that the tackle will be blanked? If Candeias can be sent off for blowing a kiss how many times do you think Captain Broon should have been sent off?

Very funny but what you're saying is you can't explain why he doesn't have a poor European and international discipline record?

14 Feb 2019 14:25:16
I think they just did IOG - he's shoit in these games and can't get close enough to the opposition.

In summary of your hundred questions true blue I think brown is a quality defensive mid and a robust but fair player, a completely different type of player to mcstay who most definitely wasn't a 'square baller'.
You know if he played for rangers you would love him to bits for exactly the same reasons you hate him now.
As for holding back in Europe? Come on now you can't actually believe that?

Broon gets found out in nearly every European match you play. He just isn't up to the job. Decent on the spl but nowherr near the standatd required for Europe. Remember you are in the last 32 due to some unbelievable luck. And before you head down the whitabootery route, the same goes for us. To sum up Broom can't get near anybody in European ties so therefore his disciplinary record is pretty good. As for here everbody knows that he gets away with doing whatever he wants, hence the uproar.

So he literally can't get close enough to other people even to assault them hahahaha!
Check his recent champions League stats regarding pass completion, tackles made, pass accuracy etc.
Or don't because this determination to avoid giving him credit at all costs is frankly hilarious!

IoG - McStay was a square baller and Captain Broon is a square baller and a very tippy tappy slow one - any officianado of the game will tell you that he slows up play and tackles badly and very ineptly - he has no pace and lacks the very basic of football skill - he invariably does a three foot square ball pass which is just not good enough in European football. His elbowing and tackling stands him in good stead within Scottish refereeing parliance but we ALL know that he should be punished even when he doesn't - take a look at his yellow card for his studs showing last week.

Peanut Heid couldn't lace the likes of McStay or Ferguson's boots. These were proper mdffieldets as Barry often demonstrated in OF games.

IOG - what was that you were saying aboot super captain Broon?

So Brown swans about and thinks he’s a ticket but when Arfield got on his face he looked like a wee boy. Shelling balls out the park etc.
If more SPL midfielders had some balls he would be shown up big time.
As for your “quality def mid” rubbish. he is a crab, sideways sideways sideways! Scared to take the ball forward and couldn’t create anything.
