Was reading, some, of our fans didn't want Bryson cause he's a Celtic fan now forget Bryson.
As a kid. 25-30 years ago I'd sit on the bus singing sectarian songs now as a man I think they have no place at our club. My only religion is my wife and 3 kids. I love our club and the history and traditions are very important.

Ed, could you put up a poll please?
Do you think we should sign players purely on football abilities, yes or no.
thanks in advance.

Blue Pete, I grew up in sectarian era in 80s when we couldn't beat carpets. New Rangers is wonderful to watch and a truly protestant institution. TBH don't care if we play 11 Eskimos. 1-0 win against timmies wonderful standard to Base rest of season on. but no posts on protestant advantage / Catholic implosion. And that's way it should be. It is obvious there are Catholic players at club but again that's way it should be. I don't hide from fact I'm big SG fan and as regards playing side will back him 100%.

I thought every club would sign players based on ability and affordability. If they happen to support that team then it's a bonus.

Yip paul your right i wasnt singing the billy boys at the end of the game and ill tell u why i was brought up in a properly staunch area in lanarkshire and all my family are rangers fans but my mum married again to a catholic and a big celtic fan they had a son my half brother who is a celtic fan also. now if i was to be seen singing the billy boys in front of him what kind of disrespect is that to show your brother and i also don't want my young children hearing any of that.

For me, purely football ability is not enough. Mentality, character etc are just as important. Celtic fans should never shame our shirt. Rangers for Rangers men!

We are the people!

There have been plenty of Celtic fans play for Rangers and the same goes the other way. Players should be picked purely on ability. I don't care what team they support or what religion they are as long as they give 100% for us.

There's more to playing for Rangers than ability, are people saying that no matter what, if you're a good player then you can wear the famous colours? I for one would NEVER accept that hingoot griffiths in a Rangers shirt no matter how many goals he scored for us but look at the tims they hold him up as some kind of hero. Well, my standards are a lot higher.

Well said sharpy_85, as long as the
Player has the correct attributes and gives 100% then that's all that matters. 👏👍.
