I do think there is more to the bournemouth / defoe deal than meets the eye. Its a lot of money for them to be willing to pay for quite along time. Would not surprise me one bit if they get first shot at morelos at the end of the season.

Bourmouth buying solanke £19m so yeah there definitely is and I think Liverpool gave us a helping hand to get defoe up here.

Fintytint, you could have had a decent point there mate, as regards to maybe bournemouth having first refusal on our striker alfredo morelos, as part of the smooth way, they have allowed jermain defoe to move to us on an 18 month loan deal. Especially as bournemouth would still be paying the majority of defoe's wages, during his 18 month loan deal, which his contract then ends with bournemouth. That was a good shout up to about an hour ago because now bournemouth have had a bid accepted by liverpool, of £19million + add ons, for striker dominic solanke!

Morelos will go and we would be mad not to take £13 million upwards that’s a great price of business and it’s long overdue we balanced the books. I would love him to stay but when we are in multiple millions in debt
You need to take a balanced view of risk and reward
Keep him till the summer to make a massive push for the league and then collect and invest for next season.

Flinty why would they have to be something in it he’s got a contract with them so they would need to pay his wage and I’m sure we’re paying some of his wage so it gets that percentage off there wage bill so makes sense for them to pay less without something having to be in it.
