Bring Docherty and Hardie back from loan and even wee Holt could do a job for us as a squad player. Even Zak Rudden has scored 6 goals for Falkirk and I agree with an earlier post about Pena. Maybe SG can get him sorted and fit and stick him in midfield? Don't see the point in Davis coming back, retrograde step.

What did Holt ever do wrong? I know he isn't an automatic 1st choice but was a good squad player and never let us down. Hardie has never been given a chance. I was being rather tongue in cheek about Pena and Rudden, deary me.

I understand the age ( 34 ) making you think? But the guy is a talent and could still play in the EPL without doubt, yet he could decide to come to Rangers ( if asked ) he must be a player who would make the midfield better? Players are playing longer now everywhere ( all countries) I mean, 34 is not old if a player looks after himself . I remember reading about the great Dave McKay leaving Spurs and going to Derby Country and people then thought it was crazy of Derby, what happened? they won the league. Anyway let’s see what happens.

I am a Davis fan Ulsterman. I guess I'm just a bit concerned about his age and stop-gap measures, which includes the amount of loanees we have in the squad. I wouldn't mind if Davis does sign say a 2-year deal but also get some younger, permanent blood in the team. It's a shame Dorrans and Murphy are injured as I think they'd add a lot to the team.

Ibrahimovic, now there’s a guy nearing 37, would Rangers Knock him back? I doubt it, not possible I know, I’m only bringing him up because of this age thing. I’m obviously bias being a loyalist from NI but wee Davis is a dynamo. Doiger you talk sense wanting a young dynamic player in the style of Davis, but where is he? Remember Rangers are not skint but can’t afford those type of players in your category.

You need to stop your fascination with hardie mate, will never ever be good enough. The fact 4 managers now have had him nowhere near our squad with some of the crap we've had the last few years. Holty is a tryer but again nowhere near the standard required. Not sure if Davis is the way to go either due to age but he's a HUGE HUGE upgrade on anyone you just mentioned.
