Seeker. - hard to say who was the best, like yourself I’m flummoxed on the subject, Baxter, Laudrup, Cooper, all fabulous players, Best, Messi, Pele, Muller, ZZ we’re just special players that don’t come very often.

Seen most of the modern greats play in the flesh and zz was by far the best. No one has and will ever come close in my opinion. Never seen a player that bossed games with the skill, finesse and intelligence that he possessed.

Ma heid's bursting! ZZ is one I'd forgotten all about. And my dad played down south in the fifties and early sixties and played against all the top strikers - Millburn, Charles, Lofthouse, Taylor etc etc but Tom Finney, according to him was the best ever. An incredible footballer who could play anywhere in the front line. Still think Messi is the absolute best I've ever seen. But then again, I never saw Finney!
