It is a shame about Murphy's injury. Does anyone know the situation regarding Dorrans and Rossiter and when they might be fit? Also, we need Couilbally (spelling, sorry) back. Halliday looks as if he will be a useful squad player this season when injuries hit the team.

I completely agree with you DOIGER, regarding Halliday being a good back up squad player. He can play in multiple different positions. He is not the most gifted player in the squad, and he knows that, but he always gives us his all. Some of the flack he gets on these pages sometimes borders on hysteria. Remember, no team in the world can have 11 superstars all the time, they also need hard working grafters. END OF RANT.

Well said Hoof! If some of the other players we had before Gerrard arrived had given half the effort that Halliday puts in we'd be in a better position now!

I dread to think of rossiter or Dorrans pkaying on a plastic surface. the ufa pitch is plastic btw.

Certain players can't be risked to play on plastic pitches which means some clubs can't put their best team out on the park. Surely that can't be allowed to happen. Think it's time someone in authority has a look at this.
