Bfbs didn’t hear anything at the time but the story conveniently drops a day before our big game hmmmm
Had a read there and not too justify it but the story reads ‘10 year old with bottle ‘ in large capital letters then at the bottom of the story reads - was hit with a PLASTIC bottle - again not to justify anything as any missile thrown is unacceptable but at the beginning of the story I thought oh god a child smashed in the face with a glass bottle that’s very bad then once I read the story I realised there probably wasn’t any serious injury and the story has been blown out of proportion yet again!

If a bottle was thrown by us and it hit a 10yr old girl then that is deplorable and the fans should report whoever done it👍 whether or not serious injury was caused is irrelevant and if it was a minor injury then that does not mean the story has been blown out of proportion either. Disgusting and must be condemned👍.

{Ed001's Note - a plastic cup just caused a serious injury to a linesman in a European game a few days ago by hitting him on the head when it was full. A plastic bottle which was half full or more could easily do serious damage to someone's head, especially a child. The weight of the liquid is the issue, not the material it is made from.}

Ed’s it was a can of beer that hit the linesman in Europe!
If that was us we would get barred from Europe for 2 years?

{Ed001's Note - it was reported to be a plastic cup of beer not a can.}

What are the stewards and the police doing.

Fair enough if it had been a half full bottle or more but a plastic cup! Most of the liquid would’ve flown out before impact. What if it had been a water balloon full of beer, would it still make the news? How many kids complain to the press after a water balloon fight. The usual press propaganda coming out before a big rangers game. Get it up them.

Hi guys . right I used to steward at the games at ibrox and it's quite difficult to have your eye on so many people at the one time . The main way of dealing with unacceptable behaviour is other fans pointing it out and then we could deal with it in an appropriate manner.

How can anyone seriously respond to a child being hit by any object with "what are the stewards and the police doing"? How about we weed these people out of our support by naming and shaming them to authorities or to the club?

I would say to any decent person following the mighty gers at ibrox or away grounds to self police. Get these morrons banned from our stadia. We don't need anyone taking the shine off our potential achievements this year. Plus the fact that a child was involved is disgusting.
