Statement from King

I must say for a long time now, I've not been enamoured by King and Co.

However today's statement had gone some way in changing my mind.

We all have opinion on Dave king, aye he has made stupid/ bold statements maybe without thought but I sense his statements/ speeches of late have improved. I would also say he definitely fights every corner for our club.

Disappointed to hear Greg Docherty going out on loan was really hoping the boy would kick on under SG. I would be shocked if Doc left and Halliday was allowed to stay.

I'm really surprised Docherty going out on loan, but we need to trust the manager.

Cannot believe Docherty going out on loan and the useless Halliday staying. How are we supposed to try and compete with that lot with him in and around the squad.

Maybe Gerrard feels Docherty not quite ready as the midfield will be vital this season no point him sitting on the bench he's only 21 he can come back in January and it could be like signing a new player . as for halliday who says he's staying the window shuts at the end of August.
