a good manager can bring out the best in even the most mediocre players. we know who they are. players that are not even mediocre are being shipped out. eg. forrester today.

forrester was ok in the lower leagues. its a team game england was full of ordinary players southgate got the best out of them.

I’m not sure you can say the England players were ordinary when you consider the wages and transfer fees these guys would command. Most of the English team played for the top 4 teams in England and all played deep into the champions league. Think they are more than just ordinary.
