I wonder if we could play Morelos in the hole behind another striker only reason I say this is because we play one up front for the last season or 2 and he drops deep all the time only the odd run in behind and his movement is better with his back to goal for some reason and let's be honest when he's been in great positions he struggles to hit the target I'm not getting at him although it sounds like it I'm a big fan of his hold up play brings Murphy and other players in so maybe him bringing these guys into the game with his hold up play and someone running off the shoulder as he's battling away we would only reap the rewards and maybe he will take more of his chances this season after a break I love the guy but just a thought not my job though heads killing after thinking lol c'mon Stevie bring home 55.

Totally agree, he would be much better there than on his own upfront

I agree there is a player in there and at the moment he is not a number 9. His general play is very good but to be a decent striker you have to have good shooting accuracy and be able to spring an offside trap. Morelos doesn't do either very well (at the moment) . He may improve with good coaching and experience but we don't really have the time to develop 22yr olds. For me I would try and play him in the hole or in the position Naismith used to play before he became a w@#k.

Or at least give him a strike partner to shoulder the expectation and responsibility somewhat. Hopefully Sadiq can be that striker.
