Still getting over yesterday and the cup semi. However I'm not convinced it's all doom and gloom. It is very clear something has happened in the dressing room and the team is not playing for Murty. Look back to the 0 0 at parkhead - another 10 mins at the end and we would have won. The 3-2 At Ibrox. Could easily have won the one. There ARE some quality players in our squad. Some others less so and must be moved on. Games are won in midfield. Midfield supports the defence and the forward line. A couple of better centre halfs, a quick striker, a fit jack with Arfield Dorrans and Rossiter? and a on the park leader and we will be stronger. Obviously 2 centre backs and a quick striker cost money.
Now I shall go back in hiding for a few weeks and see what team appears in our first league game next season.

Good post Newblue. I also wonder why we let two central defenders, Danny Wilson and Bates, depart when clearly this is a weak point in our team.

Bates and Wilson are both better than Martin. I thought he'd be good but has been terrible.

Bates and Wilson were both offered better deals than we could give them, they were simply looking after number one, or maybe they were jumping a sinking ship

Jboy. Wilson was desperate to stay didn't even wanth a pay rise he made it clear he'd sign for same money. Mark Allen didn't want him and told him there would be no new deal. so that's why he left no blame lies at Wilsons door

Frustrated blue, agree slightly turned down two offers as did Bates, if we are to challenge Celtic we need eleven better players than we have. Arfield and hopefully mcgregor a start

Too offers of lower wages he'd have been happy on same wage was his words. I wouldn't take a wage drop when big Bruno on 20 g for not kicking a ball bud. definitely agree we need better arfield is a good start mate what do u think?
