Well now that the dust has settled and the hangover has wore off ( unfortunately ) from yesterday’s embarrassment our great club finds itself at a crossroads in the direction it must choose.

I’ve been a fan of Murty, the way he’s stepped in to steady the ship on a couple of occasions, even believing he was tactically aware and his handling of press conferences. But in recent weeks evidence since the defeat to Celtic then his times up. Baffling team selections and even line ups has left me fearing the worse for the split.

King hasn’t helped with his usual rhetoric about challenging next season when although the points gap has reduced we are still miles behind Celtic both on and off the park. Should we now build for a challenge in 2/ 3 seasons time or go all in again with the hope we get lucky and Celtic get complacent? Personally I’m on record saying plenty of times we could have built something special when we were demoted to the 3rd division but due to financial mismanagement amongst other issues we went down the overpaid numpty route and had the displeasure of paying good money to watch Kevin Kyle, Ian Black etc.

As a Rangers fan I can accept, hard though it is, getting beat. Especially from Celtic. But what I can’t accept is lack of passion, effort and fight from someone wearing the famous blue jersey.

Can we as fans accept another couple of years of hurt fighting the likes of The Sheep, Hibs and Hearts for 2nd before mounting a serious challenge to Celtic or do we continue to waste money on another batch of imposters in June with false hope?
Only one thing is certain. We as fans deserve better for the loyalty we have shown over the last 6 years and never to be treated to a performance like Sunday from our team again.
Rangers Then, Rangers Now, Rangers Forever.

agree with every word jack

i’ve just snapped my cruciate and my physio is a big jungle

i had to sit through all his gloating this morning but thing that hurt the most was he said what’s happening to rangers just now wldnt happen to sellic as their fans wldnt put up with all the crap that’s gone on with whyte and greene etc etc 1 charlatan after another ripping the club off - sellic fans wld stand up for their club and make change happen unlike us

i thought the cruciate was sore but having him
have a go at my club, my team is 1 thing but putting boot into my fellow fans is another. I fought our corner best I could but hangover today was worse than i thought

UJ, a sensible post and some thought provoking comments.
It just seems like deja vu every year at this time.
Share issue, season ticket funds, select the right manager, back him with funds.
They one guy who spouts all this expects the fans and anyone else to actually put up the cash.
Great opportunity missed when the team was in bottom tier and could have blooded young players but NO the manager had to overspend on quick fixes and any funds just kept disappearing.
Even before that when the Yank stepped up with cash and a plan. NO, must not have someone who does not understand the roots of the club. (so what if he is a successful businessman, he is not a rangers man)
One debacle after another and how much more can the decent loyal supporter take?
Your point is spot on, 'till now, the supporters have expected instant success which has not (and probably never was going to) happen. Can the supporters live with some pain like those other clubs (lets not forget that club across the city was close to it as well)?
I think if supporters saw a viable plan put on the table then most would go with it
