I know it is clear that a number of players are not good enough, however, I feel like considering the fight we put up just a month ago at Ibrox, in comparison to that disgrace yesterday, tells me Murty can't motivate the players. The team selection was so far off the mark it was painful.

I've already slated the team on another comment last night, but trying to look to the future now, I think if we get a commanding manager in who can work work with what he has and is allowed to bring in a good few signings for himself (Steve Clarke? ) then things should get better. Rangers need to bring a manager in that is going to stop Celtic playing, simple as that. This team is so powderpuff it's nearly beyond belief.

There are some good players in our squad, they just need proper leadership, this is not a dig at Murty - he is a youth coach after all.

Just look at Celtic under Ronny Deila for example, after that semi final game, Celtic fans everywhere wanted Brown, Armstrong, Mcgregor, Forrest all replaced, in fact Scott Brown was getting it the worst, fans claiming he was finished, but with he correct manager, those players have all thrived.

I'm not saying we are the same, i'm just saying the correct manager can change everything. Look what Clarke has done with those Kilmarnock players? They are 7 points from 2nd place - that is nothing short of a miracle.

Agree manager has got to be the most important signing, i still don't know who though, thing is with clarke he has experiance at big clubs aswell would he leave killie is it just a one season wonder who knows

Great post I’ve been saying for a long time Murty isn’t the answer we need a manager who can get the best out of the squad, I would not have started Halliday but why sub him five mins before HT why not wait till HT not make a fool of him
Now as for Clarke he may be a good shout but I can’t see him taking the Rangers job I know his family are all Celtic fans and would he put them through all the hassle they would get from the nutters I don’t know but yes he is manager of the year for me
As for the next five games can you allow Murty to carry on he obviously doesn’t have the whole dressing room with him yesterday showed that we need to finish second or the season will have been a complete disaster

I think it speaks volumes of where we are right now that we actually question whether or not the Kilmarnock manager would turn us down. You need to laugh or you'd greet.
