I know it's early days for Docherty but he already looks like he's going to be a top player for us. What do you think bears?

He'll be a superb signing for us Bear471,i'm in total agreement with you mate! I said on here around a fortnight ago that i saw shades of our superb former captain, steven davis, in young greg docherty's style of midfield play! Now there's a lot of other sites drawing the same comparison! Greg docherty i firmly believe, will be a future glasgow rangers captain! He has everything, ie. power, pace, terrific passer, box to box with some engine, he can also tackle!

While I agree that docherty is showing good early signs the last player you said about becoming captain was on a flight across the Atlantic 2 days later coops. I feel we need docherty starting next Sunday as he is one of the ones who could mix it up with them. We have imo a skill full midfield but need a hardy **** in there too

Reminds me of Barry Ferguson. Bit of pace about him. Can carry the ball forward, good in a tackle, an eye for a pass. If he adds goals to his game he will become top class.

Agree about doc but I'd play Holt instead in the game next week.

Docherty has to play against celtic, he has the physical presence to win the midfield, holt doesn't.
