I'm not one for blaming others e. g. Referring decisions etc as Rangers men we need to be better than that however I see the media in our country is over run by them this is why I don't read newspapers . Fair play to them for working there way into the media I can't help but notice the posts on here saying the sun said this and the record said that . It all seems to be either unsettling player news or negativity. We know from resent measures taken how they will do what they can to unsettle us i don't speak for anyone else but I don't understand why us as Glasgow Rangers supporters would pick up any of these news papers . Vote with your wallet if it's not on Skysports it's usually propaganda.

On a lighter not great result for our lads at Bayern yesterday particularly after going a goal down .

I also think we are doing the right things not paying over the odds for players at other clubs in our league. I hope the lad Cummings does well and I believe we have the option to buy at the end of the season . I don't know how much Forset are asking for him if anyone can shed some light on that for me if you have an actual idea .

100% agree about the press Anotherbear
I have not bought a news paper in a long time
As time goes on they are just making fools of themselves with their pish
After what the Sun has done over the years you would have to be off your head to buy it in the first place let alone believe the shi*e they print

Posh Bear what makes you sure it's a £600,000? Seems a bit cheap to me?

I wouldn't give them the money for such a biest view if all the Rangers supporters stopped buying, g there papers they would loss the customer of more than half the country .

Do you think we done the right thing getting Cummings instead of Naismith? Personally I do Cummimgs is at the start of his carrer and proven goal scorer at this level . Aside from how Naismith chose to leave the club with no dignity we supported and stuck by him throughout long term injury he's at the end of his career .

Anotherbear, Can’t agree with your newspaper thesis. When we were winning 9IAR, the papers must have been full of 'us'. Now they are dominating domestic footballs the papers are full of 'them'.

It’s about who’s top dog - not about the editors of newspaper proactively recruiting journalists with specific allegiances to certain teams.

The state our club has been in is not down to the media.

Your right on a couple of points there bruisedbear. It does have more to do with who's top dog or the 'establishment club' and the state of our club is not down to the media. However through my father who was a newspaper man himself and has worked for every major newspaper in Scotland I happen to know for a fact that the majority of the sports desks and editors happen to be tims now, and was not the case in the past. I despise the media except for my father who is now retired and was a book/ film critic for my lifetime. Sadly the industry has changed massively since his days and is full of slimy creatures (nothing to with allegiances) who are desperately trying to stay in a job through sensationalism. Celtic fans rage that they are trying to hawk all of their players out although it does serve to inflate their prices while diminishing the value of ours. We have been an easy target for a number years now, but we must remember no one likes us and we should not care!
