Could it be that the board are just waiting to see how Murty does against Aberdeen before making a decision?

Also, Aberdeen maybe more willing to let DM go after those two games. If he wins both then their next manager has a cushion . if he loses both then he has taken Aberdeen as far as he can! (Surely, it's hard to say no to Murty in that instance though)

Thoughts?

I can't see aberdeens board keeping him to join us after those games, surely even if it shouldn't theyd be a conflict of interest, imagine he won both of them against us or he lost them, conspiracy central with loads of mad sheep running around claiming he meant it

Haha. Point taken StmonkeyRFC . some were suggesting that after there last poor performance but i'm looking at it from a different perspective. If the board wanted to measure the ability of Murty, then two back to back Aberdeen games could be ideal yard stick, no?

(The longer GM is in the dugout picking up points then the more attractive he will become for the board. plus they love a cheap option. )

i hope you are right and that mcinnes is in before the game a wekk on saturday infact i'd like him to be named today or tomorrow so he has time with his team to get them ready for the game
