Left field but I like a bit of that. Good manager and passionate manager why not, don't want anymore gamble foreign managers now is not the time for that.

Having heard our DOF mark allen today, speaking about how the new manager has to be prepared to embrace and buy into the new structure within rangers, makes me think that graeme murty could well get the nod, to become our new manager/ head coach! He ticks all the boxes, ie. he's already there within the structure and knows all the players senior and youths, he's a very good man man manager, who can motivate his players to run through brick walls for him, he's tactically astute, can change a system during a game to win a game, can study the opposition and set up a system to beat them! I now really do think there's a very good chance that graeme murty will become the new rangers manager/ head coach! Thoughts please fellow bears?

Super i think that although your thinking right i can't see the board doing that, i reckon they know they have to get tried and tested and also somebody that's willing to use the set up, i already think the questions been asked and i'd be very suprised if it wasn't mcinnes.
Murty we have to watch though we don't lose him, plenty of clubs willing to give guys like him a shot at management

Supercoop your post had me laffing mate, "very good man manager, can change a system to win a game, can motivate his players and study opposition and set up system to beat them", wow this guy must be some manager. He has had 7 games . 6 games 1st time round with 50 % win rate and he wins his first game 2nd time round.
Why hasn't he won all his games then if he is capable of all that, mind all of it was against spfl teams.
NO MANAGER in Scotland will be regarded like that unless he wins games in Europe, i surprised because by your analysis Barcelona and Madrid would have moved for him earlier lol.
Its no wonder you are where you are when your basing your next manager on 7 games.

Gosman, If you read my post mate, i'm stating the fact that imo after hearing our DOF speaking, that it wouldn't surprise me at all if graeme murty was named manager/ head coach, under mark allen! As regards to me, i haven't changed my mind at all my friend! I've continually stated on here that we should be aiming bigger and better than derek mcinnes! Delboy is a good manager but there's better candidates out there available to us, that's all i'm saying! We can at least go and pose the question to a big sam allardyce,
harry redknapp, chris coleman, alan pardew and of course a manager i've always rated, irrespective to what anyone thinks, wee billy davies! If we don't ask, we don't get! Sound them out!

Got to agree, i respect Murty but i think people forget we got beat off ICT and Dundee1st time with him and scraped by Morton and St Jon. everyone seems to be hanging on to the fact he got a draw at the house of horrors but we need a tried and trusted manager who can get us back to basic and beating the rest on a regular basis and let the Selik games take care of themselves

I think we should go with tried and trusted. No more taking chances. Murty would be a good number 2 for now, imo

bit racist in here saying no foreign managers. there are plenty of good foreign managers out there. please don't harp on about english managers being different from foreign. most DO NOT know Scottish football so would come with same issue as foreign managers do. also it has nothing to do with english being first or second language. there are many foreign managers whose knowledge of english would put some of us to shame. so where does the argument stand then. do we want a mediocre scottish manager who knows the scottish game or a foreigner or englishman who both, because of the logic expressed in here, would be a risk by not knowing the scottish game.
english football is different from scottish, fact.
