Not particularly Rangers related but -

Would you give Strachan the boot after that? If so, who do you bring in?

For what its worth, i'd have bagged him before this campaign but now he and McGhee MUST go. Cannot reward failure again. I would bring in Wright or, if we were going to give it a go, Biesla. We need something new, i'd also encourage Fletcher to hang up his boots and join the coaching staff if he want's to stick about.

Hope we can improve and that some Rangers players can get to the standard required.

Let me start by saying gordon strachan is a decent manager, but has to go now! Whatever way you look at it he's failed to qualify for 2 tournaments now! He's been 5 years as scotland manager now, time to freshen it up! I personally would like to see the sfa, think big and out the box here! I would love them to try and get former holland manager guus hiddink, as the next scotland manager! What a statement of intent that would be, if we could get hiddink! At least see if he'd be interested! Thoughts guys?

Hiddink, certainly would be a statement! We do need inspiration or, at least, someone who isn't 'one of the boys'. Gutted that Alex Neil had a hard time at Norwich otherwise i had him pegged as a future Scotland boss - and I hope that still comes to fruition. We have a squad of players that needs turned over and Strachan just isn't that man.

For me it has to be Michael oneil. He has stated he would be interested in the job in the past.

I predicted yesterday that this would be Strachan's last game in charge. He has taken us forward from the dark days of Craig Levien but I think his stubborn streak maybe cost us. And I may get shot down here but for once I agree with Sutton, Griffiths should have been in the team from the start of the campaign.

MacInnes would suit me but if somebody like Hiddinck was actually interested, then Scotland should be interested in talking to him.

Hiddink would be a bold choice but I’m not sure the SFA would be that bold. IF Strachan goes I think it more likely Moyes would get the job. Fits in perfectly with the type the SFA seem to prefer namely Scottish and out of work so no compensation to anyone

for me strachan is absalutely mental with his selection.
big rangers fans but what happened to forrest and for me mg#cginn and mcgregor would be much much better than mcarthur who is an absalute joke and fletcher who at this stage of his career is an empty jersey.

for me scotland lost the game in the middle of the park because of strachans favouritisms and the fact he rated cwhen the guy can't even run the length of himself

I would have went to a 3 at the back when we were chasing the game. I would have put forrest and mcgregor on for pace and creativity. I would have pushed robertson and tierny wide and further up. But the clown took tierny off and put anya at right back.

Dropping Forrest was a joke. But even in the game, we came out for the second half about 10-20 yards deeper and with no fight. What on earth did he say at half time?

We also started the game lying far too deep! As far as i'm concerned he should have played his usual 4-5-1 formation! Why did he change it and allow slovenia a lot more space and time in midfield? Strachan on one hand raved about slovenia being a good passing team and then he goes and plays 4 in midfield instead of 5!He shouldn't have started with chris martin imo!

Michael O'Neil or Chris Coleman would both do a good job imo. They would maybe even think out the box when it came to selecting players and not just plump for those in hoops.
