The performance today wasn't the best but it's about getting 3 points at the moment. It's still a new team and they will be getting use to one another. Once big Herrera gets one goal he'll be off and running. Should give Pena and Morelos the full 90 on Wednesday. Dorrans was a total stand out. Jack done all the thankless task stuff. Right back is still a bit dodgy and I know fod made a great save at the end but he should've claimed the cross for their goal. As much as I'm a Kenny Miller fan I though play slowed down when it came to him, wanted to many touchs IMO. Onwards and upwards tho, get walker in and a new right back and we have a solid team. Dunfermline game is a great chance to get fitness and confidence up. Bring on Lennon and his muppets next Saturday. Let's get ibrox rocking.

We also need a goalscoring striker. Miller, Waghorn and Herrera won't score enough goals and it will be difficult for Morelos during his first season. Lack of goals is the main worry for the team going forward

I genuinely can't understand the amount of negative comments regarding big Wes. The amount of one on one saves he's had over the past two seasons is very impressive.

He can get the pulse racing when he's got the ball at his feet but I can't recall a single goal he's been at fault for for over playing.

Wes has been superb most games . thought he shoulda came out for the ball when they scored . we had great first half I thought, should have scored more .2nd half they came in to it . pressure was on the team to win and we did

Herrera will not hit double figures this year, he's not a prolific goal scorer and as much as I think Miller has been excellent he's not the answer this year either. Give Morelos a run of games and buy a goal scorer asap. I thought Windass was excellent and the partnership in the middle of the park will get better.

agree with most of the posts on here tonight bears all fairly positive and a crucial 3 points today

I thought we started game very well and prob shd have been 2/ 3 up in first half but the lack of a proven striker is a slight concern and may cost us

miller is not an out and out finnisher who will get us 20/ 25 goals this season and although it's v early big herera doesn't look like he'll fill that role either. morelos may prove to get us goals but i think we still need a poacher

i'd go get walker to help give us options in final 1/ 3 as well as a striker if waggy leaves

special mention for dorrans thought he was class today and windass showed flashes of real promise

James2016 I agree with all you say. It was important we won the three points and start to build momentum. Our keeper was too busy today for my liking and we gave away to many cheap free kicks. let's get Herrera more involved, he could develop a cult status under the right conditions.

Fod is a good shot stopper but he is not a commanding keeper. He should've been out for that cross and taken out any player, Motherwell or Rangers, that got on his way.

I have to ask what did you see in herrara to suggest 1 goal he will be off and running? he done nothing he didn't win a header totally hopeless how he lasted till 85 mins is mental! i know it's early days but he looks pish! morelos done more in the 8 minutes he got to help the team!

I know a lot of people will criticize Herrera, but I don't recall a single time where he was able to accept the ball and turn to face the defense. His job is clearly to just hold the play and allow Windass, Miller and Candeias to run past him. a thankless task, but he will reap the rewards eventually. Early days for him in a new and very different league and style of play to what he has been playing his entire career.
