McKay needs to toughen up. he doesn't jump for a header or put a tackle in he let's people just run past him.

Whilst I agree! We should be playing the ball on the deck and bossing games not lumping high balls! Imo he looked more interested today

Ace I agree with you. McKay does have talent but he is to soft, I get the impression he thinks he's better than he actually is. As for Waghorn, I'm sick watching him, the premiership is out of his league and it's evident he is struggling big time. Eyes are on Pedro for next season.

When I started watching gers in the early 60s it would have been laughable to hear a gers fan saying Willie Henderson had to toughen up that's what the Harold Davis and griegs were in the team for win the ball and give it to the baxters and hendersons. Let Barrie mackay do what he does best and get the ball winners in the midfield .

Jaws, Henderson didn't need to toughen up. If you really remember him you'll know he wasn't one for shirking a tackle nor was he chicken hearted like McKay.

Jaws, I fully agree and the same can be said for the Souness and Smith teams. We are badly missing players that can look after the Ball Players, guys like those you mentioned, guys like Tam Forsyth, Butcher, Gough, Roberts, Terry Hurlock and Souness himself.

We need to see two or three assassins arrive during this transfer window!

Thats acceptable when he "does what he does" Jaws. But apart from his goal he was poor and just looks like he can't be bothered. Been like that a while. Players that have undisputed talent that produce the goods 99% of games can be forgiven for well being lazy but he doesn't produce that kind of constancy.
