Nikica Jelavic to terminate contract with Chinese team by mutual consent over contract wrangle making him a free transfer. He is being chased by a Croatian team. Scored 15 in 30 for a mediocre Chinese team this season. I would take him in a heartbeat. Should we have Niko on the phone to his buddy? What do you think guys?

Not sure why people are so keen to get ex players back. To me, at least, it would make more sense to find the next Jelavic and sell him on for significant profit. We need young, hungry players trying to make a name for themselves.

I'm not big on bringing back ex-players usually Cullin. But we need goals, he would be free and the window is shut. He's also far better than what we have.

Nothing wrong with bringing ex players back, especially with the state we are in at the minute. Bring in a young player that turns out to be a dud or a player, like Jelavic, that knows what it's like to play for the jersey. I know what I'd prefer. Don't forget Kenny Miller was an ex player a few times and he's one of our only decent players at the minute.

Doesn't matter if they've been here or not if they improve the team why not sign them? Especially jelavic he done well when he was here. Doubt we can afford him tho

Would take jelavic back in a second. Must be a decent age but the lad was class and i'd imagine he'd score goals here.

{Ed039's Note - Jelavic is , wont be 32 until August)

Jelavic was a class act when he was at Rangers and would score goals if he was to return.
Wages would be the issue no doubt

I would love it to happen. Doubt it though.

I'd be happy if Jelavic returned to Rangers. He's got something that we are lacking up front and might be open to coming back but someone better ask him first.

Cuillin72, weren't they the ones that Warburton said he was bringing in to improve them and sell them on? That worked well, eh?

Good player, certainly did job for us last time round and would make an immediate impact. Think his wage expectation would be outwith our reach though. Let's get Dodoo on the park!

Yip i also don't believe in bringing back ex players to rangers in general! However, i'd bring back nikicia jelavic in a minute! He'd score goals alright! His goalscoring record at ibrox was superb and better than a 1 in 2 ratio! I loved the big fella when he was at rangers! Go get him, come home nikicia, glasgow rangers most certainly needs you! He had everything in his locker for a striker! He was also a one touch finisher! I'll never forget that one touch finish he scored at tynecastle, when he came on as a sub that day! Superb!
