Any win will do.

If we go behind I can't see us on this form coming back and winning

2 nil win for morton

We have the players to win us the game but will Warburton play them and can he and Weir motivate them to play for the jersey!

I find it hard to believe that rangers fans are doubting a win against morton. Surely things can't be that bad?

Morton had a blip yesterday but have been scoring goals regularly and are absolutely deadly from set pieces. Forbes' deliveries will cause havoc. I think Morton will win 2-1 as we just don't score goals and can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

we couldn't beat ross county in 3 attempts, hamilton at home etc think the fans feeling of uncertainty of a result over morton is justified, surely its his last game in the hot seat if we do get beat

3-0 Rangers but still think he has to go

11.) 05 Feb 2017

Does anyone think senderos will start against Morton

12.) 05 Feb 2017

Think game will be more straightforward, often works that way when there are doubts about beating a lower team in the cup.

Who are we to rule out morton? Duffy has them well set up

@gdawg - you've forgotten we've beat both The Sheep and Jambo's at home.
Easy win for Rangers against Morton.

Morton will score, we will huff and puff, get a late goal probably from a penalty and win the replay, probably on penalties

For a start, get Burt on the bench and if we're winning comfortably (! ) give him 20 minutes. Play Hodson, use Toral as holding midfielder and give Dodoo a game. If we can't try these things against Morton and still win with some ease, then we are in real trouble. Instead, though, I think we'll see Halliday and Kiernan back in and that will be it.

Wee-Icky, I sincerely hope that you are wrong with regards to Halliday and Kiernan. If they both play then it really isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we could lose.

I would go with a 4-4-2
If Warburton and Weir can't motivate the team to go out there and win with goals to spare then they should hang their heads in shame. Maybe they should pick up the phone and ask Gough, Ferguson, Smith or Souness and ask for help!, (and Weir should pick up his jotters)!

As long as he doesn't deploy hyndman as a defensive mid.

I think the only way forward for Warburton is to switch the system whether it be a 352 442 or even a 4231 we need to play with 2 midfielders sitting and have a more balanced team. 2 striker would be my preference and dodoo should get a chance. He can't be as bad as what we have seen this year.

i fancy us to beat morton 3-1! put it this way fellow bears, we'll have to beat morton or warbs will lose his job, there and then i feel! this is coming from a bear who has always been behind and backed warburton! i honestly think there's life left in warburton's rangers career yet! that's my honest opinion. funny things can happen in football that swings it the other way, and you don't look back from it! football is most certainly, "a funny old game"!

Eastmains16

Senderos has plenty of experience but if we play him alonguide Hill we lack pace.
Unsure if he will start but it's never easy to predict our starting 11.

I agree wholeheartedly Tom and I'd still advocate Kenny Miller as player manager with any one of those sterling gentlemen and legends you mentioned operating by his side.

I agree with you cee! I'd like warbs to try the 4-2-3-1 system! I've always liked that system!
