Saw it mentioned on here before but with Middlesborough lining up a move for Villas Gestede in Jan (BBC sport) surely then we could at least put the feelers out for a loan move for Rhodes? The guy won't be on mega money we could cut a deal with his parent club and the boy will be desperate for some first team football. We could and have been linked with a lot worse. I know it's a long shot but this is the kind of player we need to look at not league 1 and 2 we are Glasgow Rangers for goodness sake.

He moved for a out that last Jan I believe. But since they brought in Negredo and after his injury he has Barely got gametime. He will be on a decent wage probably over 25k but no harm in finding out if Boro would be open to us paying say 50% of that.

Hes on mega dosh lads, 40k i believe, when we sounded him out in summer he came with a list of demands ( automatic starter, plays all champ league games etc) sounds like he's turned into a bit of a diva, not doubting his talents tho, good player.

I agree with Mr Bassy. We need a change in tactics! Two up front and two new midfield players that can improve the team!
