Is it just me or is there anyone else who thinks there won't be a signing b4 monday night?

Still nine days to go before window closes but doubt if a signing will even be made by then.

I don't care if we don't sign anyone in this window January window is known for over priced panic buying let's just do business in the summer we already have they young guys on pre contracts the boy from Brentford didn't look good plus young crooks and murdoch both play that position but with youth on there side. O'halleran can come but I for one won't be fussed if he doesn't we will be a much more attractive option in the summer as a top tier side, although I don't think there is anything between the two leagues signings will feel playing in the highest league in the country is better plus the chance of European football always was a main selling point before. Do we want to sign players now only to find them surplus to requirements in 6 months but on contracts for a few years and we can't get rid of them we all know how that worked for us in the past let's look to the future with the lessons of the past learned not repeated.

I agree with gary 75 here, we don't "need" a signing to win this league, we will win it with some to spare.

Hi Bears. Am I the only one that thinks these two "targets" have been a smokescreen from the off? I can't help thinking that they've been a necessary distraction so the gaffer can pursue who he's REALLY after in the background. I may be WAY off base here, but I think Mark's one smart cookie and shouldn't underestimated in any fashion. As for Mr. King - let's say he forks out a million or two at this stage and we fall short. again! We would be slavering at the mouth screaming that he should have saved the money for an assault in the Premier. the man can't win!
