Just been over reading "their" site and those bhoys are not happy sir, no not one bit! However the bit that did surprise me was this lad they're getting on loan from Manu, no mention of their club being a loan club at all, no siree, in fact they're wanting MORE loanees, so it would seem that what is good for the goose is NOT good for the gander! Ah well, good for a laugh.

You should take a look at the Hibs site. They're debating whether they should bid £50k for El Bakhtaoui or get him on precontract in January. A derisory offer or get him for nothing forgive me but isn't that what they were moaning about our pursuit of SA? Two faced or what?

You know what, I wasn't so much annoyed that we didn't get Allan as I thought he was a good wee player, I was more annoyed at the manner in which Stubbs et al went about it. You could see the dislike for us in everything he said or did. "We won't sell to our direct rivals," he said, fair enough, but Alloa (as it would seem are closer to them than us) never came a knocking. The players that MW & DW have brought in MORE than make up for missing out, they eclipse ANYTHING that the CFC feeder club could of offered us. (As someone quite rightly said on here, "He made his bench, now let him sit on it")
Let them wheel and deal among themselves because all they are succeeding in doing is sharing the mediocrity and rot between them all. We have an amazing man in a hat who has blown ANY manager and management style out the water and WILL take our club forward, onward and upwards even with these double dealings and attempting to put a spanner in our works. It just won't work, we ARE on the rise and I think we should take it as a compliment that other teams want to scupper us as they can see it too and are probably a bit scared if truth be told.

The future IS bright fellow Bears.

I liked the smirk on stubb's face when asked if he'd got one over Rangers by signing DM. Obviously no one had explained to him the difference between leaving by mutual consent and being offered a new contract. Still as long as he's happy.

Actually I would like to add to my rant now that I think of it. I feel that this weeks bit of business by one ball signing DM says it all!
Our manager says, "At 29/30 he needs to be playing" and he doesn't want to stand in his way, so yeah we could've held out etc but no, off you go son with our blessing, get yourself a team and play. Opposed to, sell to a team that doesn't want/need them and let them sit (sometimes) on the bench. So much for one ball having a good relationship with his players and wanting what's only best for them!

No problem Ed, please accept my apologies, I seem to have let my feelings and blood boil over, which offers no excuse I know. You are right it was a disgusting thing to call the man and I'm very sorry, I can promise it will never happen again, as you can see my posts are normally pretty lucid and level headed. Once again sorry, I have let myself and this forum down.
