is looking more than likely we will have a new central defence pairing next season of Wilson and kiernan this would mean leaving MacGregor out of central defence what do fellow bears think bout not having him play in central defence is he good enough or not

I would play 3-5-2 and have McGregor alongside wilson and kiernan, buy a decent right wing back and play wallace left.

A good player but he could also play at right back if required plus hopefully we will have lots of games next season with cup runs so would be a very good player to be rotated in the team

He is good enough but he is not great he gets wrong side lapses in concentration. But we will get injuries.

Have to agree with SimonH82. having the 3 at the back gives us more cover and with the wing backs bombing forward it becomes quite an attacking formation. Also think McGregor deserves a chance as CB as he looked impressive in there when he was actually played in position.
Just need to wait and see what Warburton has in store regarding formations

with Warburton in charge we are more likely to go with a 4 at the back 2 centre mid 1 behind striker right winger and left winger and 1 up front 4 2 3 1 when defending 4 5 1 can be a good formation but you need the right people to play this at the moment we lack the players to play this hopefully that will get this sorted soon
rather than play MacGregor at right back think we should be defiantly looking for new right back this has been a problem area for a while then use MacGregor as a squad player we did concede a few goals with him playing at centre back last year but no fair to judge him due to players he had beside him last year didn't do him any favours or our not so good goalkeeper keep him as squad player I would say

McGregor is only average and was found out against better teams. At best he should be a squad player but no more he isn't good enough and prone to stupid mistakes
